We arrived at 4 PM for check-in, and the room still wasn't ready. We had to wait for almost half an hour at the front desk. The receptionist wouldn't even admit the room wasn't ready, claiming the manager was inspecting it. Waiting downstairs with a whole family in the hot weather was really frustrating. Ctrip stated check-in was after 2 PM, so I never expected the room to still be getting cleaned at 4 PM. On top of that, the bathroom sink was leaking, the hotel environment was quite mediocre, and its location inside the pedestrian street meant cars couldn't access it, which was very inconvenient.

Following the directions made finding the hotel very easy. The hotel itself is a quiet oasis in a bustling area, very comfortable, and conveniently located within the Three Streets and Two Alleys pedestrian street. The smart room experience was excellent, and housekeeping was diligent. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time I'm in Nanning.
