With this price, I didn’t expect much. However, it’s a bit better than I thought. Yes, the room isn’t that clean, but it’s very quiet at night somehow. Breakfast doesn’t have much variety, but it’s not bad.

This hotel was a bit tough to find, so i will give directions. Taxis from the airport are exorbitant. But there is a direct, airport shuttle bus, costing 10 euros. You pay on the bus, only by credit card. Get off at the 2nd stop, which is “Hotel Dieu.” It is on Cours Olivier de Clisson, which almost immediately becomes Cinquante Otages. It’s 10m to the first cross street. After crossing the tram tracks, the 2nd cross street is Franklin Roosevelt. Go left here, and after about 100m., go right, on to Rue du Couedic. The hotel is 50m on the left, across from the Mercure. The hotel is not exceptional in any manner, but it is perfectly acceptable in every way. The location is very good. The breakfast is nothing special, but is adequate. The reception staff was friendly, and Jade, in particular, was most helpful. To open and to lock the door, you must lift up the handle. They use old-fashioned keys, but if you don’t know to lift the handle, you will get frustrated. The public transportation is gratis on the weekends, so that’s a lovely thing that Nantes offers. The Gare Nord train station is a 15-20 minute walk, straight up Franklin Roosevelt, in the opposite direction that you took it when coming from the airport shuttle. Directly across from the train station is a very lovely botanical garden, and 3/4 of the way to the train station is the Chateau de les ducs, which is excellent, but closed Mondays.

It’s a rather sad place, and the fact that the breakfast room is in the basement with no windows just gives you a generally depressed feeling. The decor and general worn down, shabby state of repair means that this hotel must truly be due for a major renovation soon. It really doesn’t deserve the branding of IBIS Styles, and is very much a budget IBIS. The bed was comfortable but sleep was frequently interrupted by the slamming of doors and other guests talking in the corridor. The receptionist was polite and friendly enough but I didn’t need more than just a key (you get an old-fashioned metal one!) and to pay, which was handled quickly and easily.

Great hotel, very conveniently located close to everything, shops, restaurants and attractions. The staff were very helpful and nice. The room was comfortable and clean. The carpet was perhaps the worst aspect of it but that did not take in any way from our stay. The breakfast was included and it was really nice, a continental style breakfast of all you could eat. It was superb value for money, very reasonable for the centre of Nantes. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

This is a really crap hotel but in a beautiful neighbourhood. When we arrived they sent us to a dog box on the 7th floor - I said we weren’t prepared to stay there. They gave us room 101 on the first floor which was luxury in comparison. Not all rooms are the same. E We had a lovely stay and the Bistro Royale next door was great.

Durante un recente viaggio di lavoro sono stato all’Ibis styles di Nantes che mi avevano prenotato. Non che mi aspettassi molto, sapendo quello che è lo standard degli Ibis ma, oltre alla semplicità della struttura e del suo arredamento, la mia stanza avrebbe avuto bisogno di una bella manutenzione. Colazione non molto varia e consumata in una stanza nel seminterrato. Si salva la posizione a due passi da Place Royale e per dormire un paio di notti e accettabile ma nulla di più.

A localizaçãodeste hotel é, sem dúvida, um dos seus maiores trunfos. Fica perto de vários pontos de interesse e com bons acessos, o que facilita bastante a deslocação. Além disso, a impeza é impecável — os espaços comuns e o quarto estavam sempre imaculados, o que deixou uma boa impressão. Outro aspeto a destacar foi a qualidade do sono: a cama era confortável e o ambiente era silencioso, permitindo descansar bem durante a noite. Por outro lado, o hotel em si é pequeno e carece de remodelação, dando uma sensação de espaço apertado e algo desatualizado. Os quartos, além de compactos, mostram sinais de desgaste e precisariam de uma renovação urgente, desde as paredes até aos equipamentos. O mobiliário antigo (com móveis riscados e tecidos gastos) contribui para uma impressão de falta de cuidado. Por fim, o pequeno almoço foi mediano — a variedade era limitada e a qualidade dos alimentos não correspondia às expectativas. Em suma, este hotel é uma boa opção para estadias curtas, graças à sua localização conveniente, limpeza e bom descanso. No entanto, se valoriza espaço, modernidade e um pequeno almoço reforçado, pode não ser a melhor escolha. Dependerá das suas prioridades!

Estou habituada a ficar em Ibis Styles e este deve ser um dos mais antigos ou provavelmente ainda não foi remodelado. Mais pequeno dos que conheço, com uma decoração mais triste, um pequeno almoço menos variado, mas ao fim do dia um belo local para se ficar hospedado, mesmo no coração da cidade e virado para uma das mais belas praças.

Cet hôtel est central et c’est bien là son unique intérêt… Les parties communes sont extrêmement dégradées. La moquette des couloirs et chambres mériteraient un nettoyage profond. La SdB est avec baignoire certes mais son bonde… La climatisation de la chambre ne fonctionnait pas, ce qui est d’autant plus pénible que l’ouverture de la fenêtre conduit à s’exposer à d’importantes nuisances sonores (déjà à peine supportables fenêtres fermées). Le petit-déjeuner frustre se prend en sous-sol dans un espace très restreint. En résumé : premier et dernier essai dans cet hôtel ne méritant définitivement pas ses trois étoiles.

Hôtel à l'atmosphère un peu passée, bruyant effectivement avec les bruits de la rue. Salle de petit déjeuner minuscule en sous-sol. Politique absolument non commerciale. Je fréquente l'hôtel plusieurs mois par an depuis 3 ans, je n'ai pu y aller en décembre et souhaitais reporter ma réservation en janvier. Je connais les conditions de réservations mais j'espérais un peu plus de compréhension et un geste plus commercial de la part de cet hôtel que je fréquentais régulièrement mais ma demande n'a pas été acceptée. J'ai changé d'Ibis pour l'ibis Graslin finalement nettement plus agréable.

Je déconseille fortement cet établissement. L’hôtel se situe dans une rue très fréquentée par des étudiants qui font la fête toute la nuit et qui vous empêchent de vous endormir avant 3H du matin. C’est tellement mal insonorisé que vous avez l’impression de dormir dans un rue avec des cris incessants. J’ai passé une nuit catastrophique.

Ero dubbiosa per aver letto alcune recensioni negative, ma mi chiedo davvero dove abbiano soggiornato quelle persone o che esperienza abbiano. L'albergo rientra negli standard Ibis. Potrà anche essere datato in alcuni aspetti (necessità di qualche piccolo ritocco), ma anzitutto la pulizia c'è e non si discute, e mi pare importante. Le camere vengono rifatte ogni giorno. La posizione più che centrale; inoltre a 5 minuti a piedi dalla navetta per l'aeroporto e 10-15 min a piedi dalla stazione (meno coi mezzi). Colazione ottima, con tanta scelta e prodotti di qualità che mi hanno stupito per il contesto (Kusmi Tea, marmellate Bon Maman e poi tanta scelta: brioches, pancake, crepes, formaggi tipici, latte normale e di soia, succhi, torte, pane ecc). Disponibilità di bevande calde e fredde all'ingresso tutto il giorno. Silenzioso la notte nonostante l'affaccio sulla via centrale. Nulla di cui lamentarmi. Se volete un 5 stelle, pagate un 5 stelle. Questo albergo supera persino le aspettative per un hotel di questa categoria a questo prezzo.

Les 2 seuls points positifs : 1/ un super accueil avec une réceptionniste du soir aimable, serviable, aidante, souriante digne d'un bel hotel et 2/ la situation en plein centre-ville : hotel bien placé dans les rues piétonnes avec de bons choix de restos pas loin. Mais à part ces 2 points, je ne recommande pas cet hotel qui aurait vraiment besoin d'une rénovation complète, car il est très vieillissant. Je pensais naïvement que "Ibis Styles" était un standard de la marque Accor avec des hotels modernisés, mais là c'était plutot une ambiance "Ibis Budget" datant des années 90 : ça peut aller pour 1 nuit de transit, mais c'est vraiment vieillot et ça ne vaut pas ce prix. Je sais bien que ce n'est pas évident pour les gérants/gérantes d'hotels et que rénover coûte extrêmement cher, mais là vraiment, il serait temps.
