Nantong Sendi Tribe Treehouse

Environment: We chose the Nantong Sendi Dream Island Romantic King-size Treehouse, which was located upstairs. It was a bit larger than other Dream Island options because it was a two-story unit. It happened to be my friend's birthday, so I booked it in advance to bring them here for the experience. (My inner thought: I've actually wanted to go for a long time, but I didn't have anyone to bring me.) Service: The service was absolutely excellent. The experience was great. I mentioned it was a birthday beforehand and they even sent a cake 🍰. The animal keepers also had super friendly service. I followed them around and told a keeper that the red pandas hadn't visited our room yet, and asked them to please make sure they did. Once the red panda came into the room to play, I immediately felt that the 2000 yuan room rate was worth it. We went on a weekday, and the small animals were all quite active. It's very suitable for families with children. Hygiene: To be honest, the bedding smelled a bit. However, the strong interactive experience made up for it. If you're looking for better and more affordable accommodation, you might consider the hotel at the entrance 🏨.

The room was fantastic, my kids absolutely loved it! It really made them happy. Right outside our door, there were cougar cubs, yaks, and a family of four alpacas – so cool! The environment was superb; we slept incredibly well at night. My kids adored the small loft. The zoo and snow park were also a lot of fun. Definitely great value for money. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back. The resort services were excellent too, and the staff were all very friendly. At the Tribe Restaurant, you can feed animals while having breakfast, which my kids just couldn't resist, haha!

Compared to Guangzhou Chimelong, this place offers great value for money. We happened to be there when rain was forecasted, but it barely rained, and the park wasn't crowded, which made for a fantastic experience. The kids absolutely loved it and couldn't get enough even after two days. Highly recommended! However, there's really no need to stay in a hotel inside the park; the one right at the main entrance is perfectly fine. The experience isn't significantly different, and it's much more cost-effective.

Last time I booked the Pet Treehouse, and this time I opted for the West Zone Treehouse. The furthest west part of the West Zone is a bit remote, but the shuttle service makes it much more accessible. The West Zone has giraffes, zebras, and camels, but no 'red pandas.' The Pet Treehouse, however, is where you'll find red pandas, and if you're lucky, they might even visit your room! It's also closer to where many other small animals live. So, I'd recommend staying in the Pet Treehouse (even though it's the most expensive room). The room service is excellent. While the park's food is pricey, you can order takeout. They have a dedicated butler service that will pick up your delivery and bring it to your designated visitor center, making it much more convenient for you to collect.

The experience at Nandi Forest Wildlife Park was fantastic, my kids absolutely loved it! The circus performance was spectacular, and the sight of the horses bathing in the river was truly majestic. Plus, you can even go inside and interact with the red pandas, which was incredibly heartwarming! So satisfying! We definitely have to come back.

I specifically chose the Dream Island Treehouse for the red pandas. The overall environment definitely can't compare to a five-star hotel; it's more about the atmosphere. It rained heavily on our second day, and at first, we thought we wouldn't be able to interact with the animals during breakfast, but after a short wait, the deer and sheep all came over. Since the room rate includes admission to the zoo, it's essentially a one-stop-shop for exploring. The indoor playground offers unlimited re-entry. However, I have to complain about the 'exclusive guest' travel photoshoot. When I booked, the platform didn't disclose any height requirements. It wasn't until the night before our trip that I clicked into the order and saw all the restrictions. My daughter, a 5th grader, is on the taller side and exceeded the height requirement for the photoshoot. If we wanted to take photos, we'd have to pay an additional fee, I think it was 599 or 699. I find this quite unreasonable! Even if they don't provide outfits, we could just wear our own clothes and take a few pictures. Any decent hotel that offers a complimentary photoshoot usually calculates it per family or per person. It's not that I'm trying to get something for free, but if it's included, why set up so many restrictions? Wouldn't it be simpler to just include one for the whole family? If adults want to be photographed, they can pay extra, or if they want additional negatives and touch-ups, they can choose to spend more – that would be a more reasonable approach. Overall, I'm unhappy with this aspect.

This place is perfect for families with kids! The zookeepers are so kind and gentle, and the animals are lively and adorable. You can buy some fruits and vegetables from the hotel, rent a small car, and drive through the feeding area to give them a treat. We had such a great time, the little ones didn't want to leave!

This hotel isn't suitable for anyone sensitive to smells. The room itself was clean, tidy, and quite spacious. I understand there's bound to be a certain odor since it's located within a zoo, but I'm quite sensitive to smells, so I didn't sleep well at night. I came here for my baby to have a good experience, and both the baby and my husband slept perfectly fine. The 'Love Nest' is located in the 'Dream Wonderland' area, which is the furthest room. We couldn't even feed the fish outside because we were told the birds had eaten all the food. For food deliveries, you have to pick them up from the shuttle station, and the 'Love Nest' is quite a distance from there, which was a bit inconvenient. However, the staff were all excellent and generally drove us right to our door when it was convenient for them. I'm sure the experience would be even better if you could book a treehouse in the West Zone. You absolutely must see the 'Tianma Bath River' – it's incredibly beautiful!!! Don't buy carrots in the parking lot!! They were all rotten. The ones at the front desk are much better and super affordable, even cheaper than what I saw on Xiaohongshu!!! If you're driving, I recommend buying plenty of apples to feed the brown bears – it's a lot of fun. The buffet breakfast didn't have many options, so I'd suggest eating in the city for other meals.

If there were negative scores, I'd give negative scores. I guess the minimum rating is 0.5. I had high hopes for this hotel, but from the moment I checked in until I checked out, I was fuming. This is the worst service I've ever encountered at a hotel; I'll never come back. It was the first time I didn't want to stay even one extra minute. The attitude of everyone within the entire hotel and resort grounds was just awful. The treehouse was incredibly tiny, and you had to dangerously climb a steep slope to get to the tatami mat. The shuttle bus was also unaccommodating to seniors and children, not dropping them off directly at their destination. I complained to the hotel, but they denied everything. And then, as soon as it was lunchtime, they actually locked my room door without permission! Absolutely outrageous! So, so, so angry!
