We have stayed at several B & Bs in Nantucket and this is a particularly appealing one. The property is very well-kept, our dog-friendly room (Primrose) and the relatively small common spaces well-decorated and immaculate, and the outdoor courtyard with seating and tables, first-come parking for 4 cars with a fleet of bikes at the ready, and small dog yard are all lovely. Continental breakfast is prompt and efficient; these are pleasant but not chatty hosts. Location steps from Broad and S. Beach streets cannot be beat.

My husband and I stayed in Nantucket during the off season. Not all the shops and restaurants were open, but we enjoyed the quaint solitude. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning at the Inn, walked the cobblestone streets then ended our day at a local pub, the Brotherhood of Thieves. We didn’t fight crowds and got to meet several local, who were friendly and welcoming.

Located about a 5 minute walk from the ferry, this inn was friendly and comfortable. It was also close to the main town square, which made getting around town on foot very easy. Nantucket is very charming and welcoming, and I would definitely stay at the Brass Lantern Inn again.

We so much treasure our time at the Brass Lantern Inn. It was our third visit and from the moment we entered it was like coming home. The staff take pride in the experience they provide all guests. We really love the breakfast to order each morning, reserved the night before. We can't wait to return soon.

Absolutely perfect stay at The Brass Lantern to celebrate a big birthday. Innkeeper Sharon treated us like old friends from the second we arrived. Order ahead Continental Breakfast is wonderful, room was spotless and very quiet. Free Parking and close to town: would absolutely stay again. Thank you for a great stay!!

The Brass Lantern is a lovely little Inn close to town. The staff are very attentive and quick to respond. The bed was very comfy and the rooms had that cool New England feel. My husband and I had a lovely stay.

This was the cold, wintery, quiet of offseason. Despite that my arrival and stay at the Brass Lantern could not have been warmer! All this is thanks to Sharon and the many people (driveway clean-up crew for example) I didn't get the names of. I lft my next visit and would give ten stars if I could.

Between the welcome chocolate covered cranberries, afternoon tea/coffee served with home baked cookies, fresh baked muffins at breakfast and the beautiful fresh flowers provided on my birthday, there are no words to describe the way The Brass Lantern staff makes you feel. It’s like no other bed and breakfast I have ever experienced.

Sharon at the Brass Lantern Inn created the most warm and welcoming atmosphere. We visited Nantucket for Stroll, and our lodging could not have been more conveniently located. From the cookies to the tea... From the roaring fireplace to the lending umbrellas... we had everything we could have possibly needed. The other guests were friendly as well. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Brass Lantern Inn to any Nantucket visitor!
