Napier Beach Top 10 Holiday Park & Motels

1. Waking up at 5.45am by park users driving their cars around the park, playing loud music and yelling profanities 2. being intimidated out of the kitchen by people drinking heavily and smoking 3. Waking up in the middle of the night by someone banging on our cabin door, yelling threats at us and throwing objects (eggs) at our window (see photo) 4. Overheating in the cabin at night because there are no safety latches on the window and being afraid that any park users mentioned in numbers 1-3 above could climb through our window while we sleep 5. Having staff laugh at us the morning after number 3 happened (although they will deny this happened) 6. using a kitchen that stinks 7. Having rubbish bins overflowing with rubbish and rotting food left in the communal kitchen/fridge. 8. Having piles of dirty and wet tea towels in the kitchen with no clean or dry ones available 9. Having to pay for use of showers 10. Knowing that the staff at Napier Top10 will deflect blame on to us, deny claims mentioned above and fabricate their own stories as evidenced by replies from top 10 head office in emails and previous responses Napier top10 have given to "negative" feedback that they have received. All in all, a very disappointing stay at Napier Top10. We felt unsafe and we will be dissuading all friends and family from staying here. We recommend others also find alternative accomodation to here.

Good experience with friendly, helpful reception and park well maintained with designated parking. The Beach access is near and lovely. Small cabin had hardly enough room for the bed.

Amazing staff super friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were always spotless. Excellent views with the beach just a few steps away. Kitchen had more than enough to gwt you through your stay, was always tidy and easy to get to. Would highly recommend.

The small prefabricated block of toilets that most people on the beach side had to use was understaffed for cleaning and had too many people using it, and it was Unisex but not particularly private.

The site is well set out, the caravan sites had some privacy. The ablution blocks were pristine every day, kitchen is well kitted out, provides a great laundry , lounge area, barbecue area with a covered roof and seating, playground for the children, beach just a stroll away, cafe. Maybe the only other thing that could enhance it are a few spa pools, both private pools and outside pools for everyone. Has friendly staff. Not too far away from Napier shopping area, airport just down the road, a great place to stay
