Grand Hotel Vesuvio

Unfortunately, for over 65 francs with breakfast, I expect a room with a working fridge, air conditioning, and sanitary facilities that aren't from the last century. Not an option for frequent travelers.

The breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant staff were delightful! The hotel's seafront promenade is currently undergoing renovations. For us, the location was excellent. Close to the opera house and the pier where boats depart for Capri. Our room was very small, and although we were given a superior room, it was the one below the restaurant. Due to poor soundproofing, we could clearly hear the music and every movement of the guests at the table. We were disappointed by the maid, who kept moving the phone, papers, and other items to specific places, despite us constantly removing them from the small nightstand in an effort to save space. On our last day, the bed linen wasn't changed, even though we left a postcard with check marks and, as always, a tip.

The hotel has a great location, but the road in front is under construction, which blocks the view. Also, the Egg Castle across the street is under construction, so we can't go in to visit.

The location is fantastic, with ocean and egg burger views from the balcony. An extra bed was added to the room, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. The hotel breakfast was also plentiful… the only downside was that the shower room was a little small.

The location is excellent, and the scenery is beautiful.

The room wasn't large, but it had a terrace with a view.

As a hotel built in 1882, it has received many celebrities and politicians. The rooms are small but well-equipped and of first-class quality. The window faces the Castel dell'Ovo and has an unbeatable view. At night, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the harbor while tasting fine wine in the bar on the top floor. If you like the old money style, you will definitely not be disappointed.
