Il Chiattillo

Positivity: very convenient location in Vomero, a stone's throw from the subway (very clean and well functioning); spacious room in accommodation with bathroom in the corridor dedicated to the room. There are 3 rooms and the smaller one has an internal bathroom. Excellent cleaning. Air conditioner. Negative: The fixtures are great but it's impossible to keep the windows open due to the very heavy traffic of St Kerkbaker. In my room there was no chair or armchair and adequate light for reading. The daily cost of the room is €130.00 (city tax excluded) including breakfast for €10.00 in a nearby bar: a brioche is a real steal for a drink. In Naples, you pay €2.00 for a coffee and brioche. I strongly advise against asking for breakfast. Not even Gambrinus coffee pays that much. Another unnerving criticality lies in the malfunctioning latch of the second entrance door: to open it you have to try many times because it doesn't open on the first attempt. Lastly, the kind and friendly welcome came from a person who is not the manager and therefore, rightly so, could not answer our questions. Connecting to the Wi-Fi wasn't easy either because only the old address was on the brochure of the facility. For the amount requested, too much improvisation and little professionalism. In the room there is a Nespresso coffee machine with 2 pods (for 5 days!) and the kettle (naturally without tea bags or anything else) was very encrusted. I repeat a lot of carelessness.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the B&B Il Chiattillo, we took the Il Posillipino room which has a private bathroom in the room ... we had a great time! Despite old reviews that accused loud noises from the street, we can say that the structure is perfectly soundproofed, both in the fixtures (brand new) and in the masonry. Well done Giulia and Franz who have done the work based on the reviews! This denotes great attention to guests. Proof of this is that, upon our arrival, the wi-fi was giving problems; so we communicated it to Giulia, who had the technician come while we walked around the center and on our return everything was in perfect working order! We spent our stay without ever having met the hosts, but they immediately mobilized if necessary! Mini fridge, professional hairdryer, coffee machine, kettle, all in the room. A stone's throw from the structure there are all the necessary services ... the Vomero area, then, is a beautiful area: rich, more peaceful, green and perfectly connected! All great, we spent some magical days! We will be back.
