I was travelling with my friend/coworker and we arrived late. Check-in was smooth regardless. We stayed for three nights and for the whole visit we did not encounter any problems whatsoever. We didn't stay in the hotel area too much due to all planned activities around the city. The hotel location is excellent for this as it is in the middle of a very vibrant area with lots of restaurants/bars. One more thing that truly gets my thanks is the staff and service. Everyone was really kind, helpful during our stay. The overall customer service speaks for itself. I left in a hurry and forgot something, however it was returned to me in world record time. Thankful for great service

I found this hotel by chance on Google maps when trying to find a hotel in a nice area of Naples. Located in Vomero district, and next to a metro station it was perfect for my 3 night stay. Vomero is a very nice upmarket area with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby to the hotel The rooms are a nice size and mine had a great view of Mount Vesuvius and only minus is it would have been nice if one of the TV channels was an English speaking news channel. Breakfast at the hotel was very nice with plenty of choices. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk to Centro Storico area. Staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful and a special thank you to the man who stayed on to check me in when my flight from London was delayed (the hotel is not open 24hours).

This hotel was the perfect find, in a lovely area of the city, close to the metro and funiculare made for sight seeing with ease.

After staying in the city center the last holidays in Napoli, we were searching for a good hotel for a holiday here - and we were completely satisfied. Being located in very good site on beautiful Vomero (the hotel is perfectly located on the 5th floor of the Endstation of Funiculare Centrale!), we had a room with balcony and sight on the whole Gulfo di Napoli, Peninsula di Sorrento and Capri from lying in the bed ! Vomero is great, much more silent then many other parts of the really great but also turbulent city of Napoli, many bars, restaurants and a great supermercato within 100 meters & reaching it via metro is uncomplicated. The only thing about the location to take into account is that coming home at late night is a little more difficult (metro closes 11 pm and taxi is rather not cheap at night as a tourist) The hotel is clean, beautiful and the staff is really great and charming. Breakfast is mostly typical Italian but perfect for our gusto! From our point of view nothing to criticize. We will come back for sure. Booking via hotel site is better than via other sites. Grazie mille e a prossimo anno!

This small Hotel in one of the best areas of Naples is Fabulous There is absolutely nothing I can find to grumble about The Room is spacious ,very clean ,Well appointed ,The bed is A little on the hard side which is normal for Italy but very very Comfortable ,The Manager Manuel is Amazing ,Very Simpatico Well mannered ,And Charming ,Nothing is too much trouble for him, All of the staff have been lovely ,From the front desk to the housekeepers The hotel itself is located on the 5th floor of an apartment block ,There is an Elevator and no stairs to deal with ,Outside the front door is the Metro and Two minutes away is the Funicular ,There are cafe,s and restaurants right Outside the front door as well . Breakfast is the usual continental style Italian breakfast ,Which include Cold meats ,Cheese ,Pastries ,Cereals, fruit juices and fresh coffee All you need to start your day of sightseeing . I have enjoyed every moment of my stay at the Cimarosa and will certainly return One thing missing is probably the lack of an English TV channel EG BBC world News or CNN so one can keep up with world news . Don’t look anywhere else ,I highly recommend the Cimarosa Napoli

This hotel is perfectly lovely. The location is amazing with respect to both getting around Napoli (the funicular system is wonderful and RIGHT THERE and we also took advantage of the metro) and with respect to staying in a lovely, pedestrian-friendly, shopping mecca of Napoli. The room was a great size, with plenty of shelves and drawers to allow us easily unpack. The bathroom was one of the best in Italy with a lovely, large, well-functioning shower. Our window looked out onto the main street below and we could hear the school children in the morning from the school on the corner! A lovely and joyful sound. The air conditioning worked absolutely as expected/needed. The room was very clean and daily service was reliable. The breakfast room is just right, with all the expected Italian hotel breakfast items and wonderful staff keeping everything refreshed. The front desk employees were helpful and professional. Napoli is a wonderful city. Vomero is a great place to call home to experience all the wonder.

This is a very nice hotel with only 21 rooms. It is well located in the Vomero district at the top of the Funiculare Centralle, which gives easy access to the city centre. The room we had was clean, quiet and comfortable. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We only ate breakfast here, which was adequate. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby (restaurants use QR codes to customers to view their menus), a supermarket is nearby too. The main criticism of the hotel is the the lighting in the main bedroom area which is awful - there are some very small peripheral lights that do not illuminate anything in the central area. The shower room and hall lights are perfect! There is one table in the bedroom, but not enough surfaces for much stuff, such as books, maps, water bottles etc. We visited in May and the aircon didn’t appear to be working. It was very quiet when we were there, but we are not certain how many other guests there were. The room we had - 104 - looked out to sea over the glass roof funicular rail way station (which keeps noise in). Other side of hotel looks onto pedestrianised street so is probably quiet too. The entrance to the hotel is not very obvious - from the funicular station turn right past the entrance to the underground station and to the left of a cafe look for a large wooden door with the hotel name on a small sign. Depending on the time of day, the large doors might be open, if closed type in 1010 on the keypad and press the bell sign. Someone should answer - just say your name and that you have a reservation and they will will open the door. Go through and up one short flight of stairs to the lift . Go to the 5th floor where reception is located. It is well worth walking the 600m to St Elmo Castle - the street in front of the castle gives a fabulous view over the city and Vesuvius. Garden Floridiana is 400m west and is a lovely cool space. There are lots of interesting shops nearby in Via Alessandro Scarlatti. There are several long flights of stairs that descend to the city - these are worth taking because they reveal different views of the city. Take the metro or funicular railway back up. Metro and funicular tickets can be bought from a vending machine or ticket seller using a credit card. Naples is a vibrant city with lots of people walking around all the time - but do watch out for broken pavements and litter, plus there are lots of dogs and consequently some dog mess. Motor scooters, E scooters, bicycles and Cars jam roads and parked cars squeezed into every tiny space available - every car has dents There is a lot to see, but do check that the venues you wish to visit are open before travelling to get there because some are closed for renovation work. The main areas of Naples itself feel safe - we didn't wander into any areas where we felt uncomfortable, but I'm sure they exist. If you need toilet facilities when in the city, go into the Gallerie d'Italia on Via Toledo - go past

Staff were great. If I were to stay again I would stay in the main building and not the annex. Rooms there while clean are sp****
