Great location in centre of authentic naples Maria made us so welcome. Room was quiet and clean bathroom spacious, shower was great. Italian style breakfast was great. And Maria most helpful with information and advice. Would definitely stay again

We loved our day in a charming apartment. Cannot fault the room, which has a great art deco theme, shower was amazing! The apartments are just off a main road so lots of restaurants and everything you need is near by. Most places to visit are about a 15-20 minute walk away. The host Maria is absolutely amazing, so friendly, kind and helpful. The breakfast was good with lots of variety. Would definitely come back again.

If you want to have a bit of art deco comfort tucked away from the hussle & bussle yet right in the mix of the mad city that is Naples then this is the place for you! Great shower and nice touch of house toiletries but the biggest plus is Maria (our host) - simply brilliant!She can’t do enough for you…ably assisted on arrival by Anna, ensures everything is in place to enjoy your city break Functional breakfast on the terrace, with fresh coffee, cereals, juice and toast with preserves and some fruit & yoghurt (you can buy additional fruits from the stalls below for peanuts) supplemented by fabulous cakes (3 types) certainly sets you up for the day Go to Mimi alla Ferrovia (Maria will book for you) - stunning! Try Tandem for superb ragu and visit Da Michele for wonderful pizza! There are other places which Maria has on the website- read and choose; you can’t go wrong! Love Napoli; Love Il Fiore d’Oro! Very lovely hotel and very friendly staff. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was included which was nice and there was a selection of pastries, fruits, cereals, juices and yoghurts. Unless you need to be near the main station, the hotel is slightly out of the way but there are buses. However we found the buses to be very unreliable. We only had two issues during our stay. Firstly, we felt that the rooms could have been cleaned better. The floors were somewhat dusty in our room. Secondly, on our second night, the aircon was not working in the room from approx 6pm until 9am the following day. I understand that this may not have been the fault of the hotel, but nothing was done to help rectify this (e.g. provide a fan etc) which lead to a very uncomfortable night sleep in a room which was 31° at one point. Besides this, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back if in Naples.
