The Britannique Naples, Curio Collection by Hilton

Naples|3.63km from downtown
We had an amazing 1 night stay upon arrival in Italy before heading to the Amalfi Coast and the hotel staff was extremely welcoming, friendly and extra accommodating which was much appreciated as as we were traveling with our 10mo baby. Our room was great and although not very big it was more than sufficient for the 3 of us and had a beautiful huge terrace with an incredible view of Naples. They set up the baby crib for us, even left baby toiletries in the bathroom, and after a very long travel day from NYC-Rome-Naples we all slept so well. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was amazing, both food and service, and had gorgeous views of the city. With my Hilton status we also received two complimentary drinks at the rooftop restaurant, and the wine was amazing. The breakfast included with our stay the next morning was also wonderful. Highly recommend if you are visiting Naples or even considering 1-2 nights before heading to the Amalfi Coast like we were.

We only stayed here one night but it was definitely a highlight of our entire time in Italy. This is a very elegant hotel with beautiful rooms, stunning views and an outstanding staff. Our room was actually 2 floors with a king sized bed and bathroom on the upper floor and a living room (with sofa bed) with bathroom on the lower floor. Gorgeous furnishings and decorations throughout and we particularly loved the marble staircase. We had a small balcony from which we enjoyed amazing views of the bay. For dinner, we headed to the rooftop terrace where we had some great food and drinks - again overlooking the bay. For dessert, we had the delizia al limone which we highly recommend (it was the best delizia al limone we have had in all our travels throughout Italy!). Breakfast was also on the rooftop terrace and offered a lovely selection of fruits, pastries, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. The staff was warm and welcoming and so very helpful with any request we had. We would like to give special thanks to Alex, Carla, Marco, Antonio and the housekeeping staff (the rooms are spotless!). We very much hope to stay here again some day.

Check-in instructions was not very ”obvious” on the booking page. It ”mainly” shows check-in time is anytime after 12pm so didn’t expect late check-in charging extra money. Nothing bad about this hotel but just need to be more aware when booking. Or expect the website layout can be more user friendly.

Fantastic hotel, lovely breakfast and very kind staff. Pros: eco & power-saving, air con in rooms, beds extremely comfortable, delicious breakfast with plenty of choice, rooms always clean and tidy, reasonable location not too far from centre Cons: very poor tap design, bathroom a little tired and could do with an upgrade, room wasn’t quite ready on time, would prefer breakfast to be a buffet & just help yourself, a smart TV would be beneficial for tourists to access Netflix etc. couldn’t find the wellness centre The cons however didn’t impact our stay enough to mark it down at all. 5 out of 5

As everyone said, the location of the hotel is good, from the train station, directly opposite, looking at the far end of the square in front of the station can see the name of the hotel UNA, walk for 5 minutes. The hotel is a four-star chain, the quality is still guaranteed, the room and breakfast are quite satisfactory. The service staff is not enthusiastic, maybe it is a bit tired during the tourist season, but still able to maintain a professional smile and politely answer questions. The hotel can valet parking, charge parking fees according to the size and time of the car, tell them 20 minutes in advance, you can take the car to stop at the hotel entrance. This time we mainly went to Pompeii, Capri Island and Amalfi Coast. It was most suitable to live in Sorrento. At that time, I did not do my homework and used Napoli as a base, but I did not go to these places from Napoli. It’s ok, it’s okay.

Loved the hotel. We paid extra 20 Euro per night to get a view of the sea and the castle that is just in-front of the hotel The only problem is that we parked our car in the hotel parking and when we about to check out they claimed 25 Euro per day so we paid in total 50 Euro extra just for the parking!! It was really bad since nobody has told us and they said its written downstairs we dont read italian how will we know??

We stayed at the hotel for four days in early July. This resulted in us leaving with the best impressions. There was a lot of politeness and friendliness among the staff. The room was exactly what we wanted and very clean. Our maids cleaned and tidied it every day. Clean towels were provided and bathroom accessories were promptly replaced. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Location was perfect!!! We highly recommend it. We will definitely stay at this hotel again if we visit Naples again. Sophia and Sotiria from Greece

I want a room with a balcony, there is no bathtub, the washbasin is not very easy to use, and the toilet is very high, maybe because I am short. The sound insulation is not very good, the water downstairs and the ding ding dong dong in the corridor can be heard clearly. Right next to the train station, very convenient, European travel, the train is more convenient than the plane, buying first-class train tickets, luggage and so on is very convenient, or snacks and drinks, the plane is time-consuming and labor-intensive, and there are various problems, waste of time and mood

Very nice and quite satisfied! The hotel is standard and the service is warm. The room was clean and soundproofed. I was impressed by the restaurant, the price was comparable to the outside roadside; and the restaurant environment could not be compared with the outside. It feels good, I'll order it here! Very good, very satisfied! Standard hotel, friendly service. The room is clean and sound proof. What impresses me is the restaurant, which has the same price as the roadside outside, while the restaurant environment is incomparable outside. I feel very good. I'll fix it here later!

Very close to the train station, but the train station is also very dangerous. At 9 o'clock overall, the facilities are a bit old, but breakfast is great in similar hotels. Next, I want to remind everyone who comes to Naples to play. Don't bring any documents and too much cash. It is best not to pack out because there is a high possibility of being robbed. Naples is really messy, especially after 8 pm, don't go out, one person Try not to go to the small streets and alleys. We were robbed by the flying thief on the first day of Naples. There were passports and some cash. Fortunately, the mobile phone made a phone call on the body 112. If you have any questions, you can contact the Chinese Embassy. When the Roman travel permit was met, the other three were also robbed in Naples, so remember to be careful. Naples is beautiful and I wish you all a pleasant trip.

The location is very good, opposite the egg castle and the sea, the breakfast is completely sea view, blowing the sea breeze, feeling great! The breakfast was quite rich, and the cup of Italian condensed was a bit amazing, and I never liked to drink coffee. Although Napoli's construction of the whole city is quite old, it feels good. Because I went to Capri Island to return to the ticket time, I missed the hotel that was temporarily set back to the Rome train. The friend recommended it, said the global chain, because the ship arrived at the shore near ten o'clock at night, so there is no sea view room. The only bad episode was to take a taxi to the hotel at night. The driver received 20 Euros and 10 Euros. If the hotel was in the daytime, the hotel would only be 15 Euros. The German husband of the friend said that it was a tip at night. explained. 🙄

The only Holiday Inn I don't advise because the neighborhood is really glacial at night. The reception is at -2 on a desert road and the street floor where the restaurant and bar is at the level of the plane, the entrance of which is closed between mosquito buildings. It is in principle behind the central station, but this corner is so abandoned, and is limited to Naples prison, that it is better to change the neighborhood. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. In contrast, coffee is horrible, because it is not grains but lyophilisate, so whether it is espresso or capuccino, it is upright to vomit. My room wife was Patrizia and she lets a little word of welcome, that humanized the reports, I appreciated it. You will not be far from the famous Naples frit pizza, but careful in the evening, some corners are really cutting throat.

The single room in this hotel was excellent, larger than I expected with a great waterfall shower. The wifi was fast and good as well. The breakfast was really good too, better that I'd expected - plenty of food, buffet style. The hotel is a bit of a hike away from many of the main tourist attractions, at least a 20 minute walk but it's near a subway station and convenient location for the train station too.

This hotel is near Naples Airport. I booked it by mistake. I was planning to live near the train station. Somehow the Ctrip map showed that this hotel was only 800 meters away. After I booked it, the navigation only found out that it was more than 3 kilometers. Killed me, I reached the hotel on foot, a day wasted. Later, I could only go to the airport and take the ALIB bus to and from. There are no restaurants or shopping malls around the hotel. You can settle breakfast and dinner in the hotel. I ate seafood, and 2 prawns made my stomach uncomfortable... The soundproofing is not very good and there is no free bottled water. So if you are traveling by car, then this hotel is especially suitable for you. There are car rental places near the airport and the hotel. The city tax of this hotel is 4 euros per person a day! Haven't stayed in other Naples hotels. I don't know what the others are. There may be fewer in small cities.
Palazzo Firenze

This was my most expensive booking while in Naples for a short holiday. There were some really good aspects to the hotel offering - a very central location next to Garibaldi and a really nice rooftop sundeck pool and bar (although I’m not entirely clear why the sides of the sundeck have been camouflaged with fake foilage, completely blocking out the view across the city). However, my room was really disappointing for the price. While large, and clean, with big traditional balcony windows looking over the street, there were problems throughout the space which demonstrated a lack of attention and care. The toilet flush was broken, with the short flush not working and the main flush jamming so you had to push it several times to shut off the flow. The settee was filthy and needed a good clean. The walls were scuffed and dirty. There were no instructions for the air con. And all the lights bar one in the ceiling were broken. There were slippers but no dressing gown. There was no soap in the bathroom to allow you to wash your hands properly Moreover, the large space was just really under designed. It felt bare and quite soulless, when with some thought it could have been turned into a really lovely space, perhaps with a coffee table to allow one to make meaningful use of the settee etc. generally I was just disappointed given the price and star rating. What is worse, when I explained the issues to the receptionist at the end of my stay he just stared blankly at me and then asked me for the city tax, and in the end I felt forced uncomfortably to ask him explicitly if he had an apology and some kind of explanation for me regarding the issues I had identified. This kind of anti-customer service is entirely unacceptable for any hotel, and it really summarises the underlying problems with this place - claiming to be a luxury hotel when it really isn’t, sadly. Oh, and breakfast fine but not outstanding. Too much cheap processed food (ie cake and dry biscuits) and not enough hot food and healthy options like fresh fruit.

It is also a tourist hotel belonging to the local old people. The inside of the hotel is very clean, mainly because it is a bit messy outside, especially there are many bars around, and there will be loud drunk noise in the middle of the night. However, the location is very good. If you can physically, the attractions in the city center are within walking distance, or you can take a subway to Dante Square in the back and walk to the subway station in 5 minutes. The front desk service is good, the booked room is not good, the beauties helped to upgrade the room for half an hour and explained it very clearly. Breakfast is good, there is no parking lot, the standard room is small and no extra bed is available. We upgraded the standard room to the apartment. The apartment is very good. The sofa bed should be 4 feet, and there are two bathrooms upstairs and downstairs. Still recommended, but the price is not very high.

Very efficient location, you can find everything nearby. For sightseeing tours, Metro Line 1 is not far away. The population occupying the area is very African, but absolutely safe. Living on the street, so the street is always full of people. I read that there is an electric kettle in the room, but I had to ask for it and got a dirty electric kettle, like a dry fried egg. The receptionist told me it was rusty and it did not kill! Welcome to Naples! I cleaned it with baking soda. The dirt is good, but I am sure it is not rusty. However, this service is still not up to standard, even if it is warm and tolerant. You can bring pizza home anytime, even at 3 in the morning!

After an amazing and nice taxi ride. I arrive at Hotel Exe Majestic. A 4 star hotel. Even it doesn’t look very glamorous, the welcome was very very warm! - How to get there? - Most easy is probably by taxi or own car. But if you want to come by public transport, the nearest subway station is Napoli Piazza Amadeo (note all stations are called Napoli first) from there it is just a 7 to 10 min walk to the hotel. SIDE NOTE! Please note that Naples doesn’t have any pedestrian crossing lights. In fact crossing the road goes on feel, it is very dangerous, please watch out when crossing the road, cars will not stop. - Reception/check-in - The entrance is easy accessible, so is the location of the reception. It just feels a little outdated, but still acceptable. I was welcomed very warmly by the receptionist, and check in went very smooth, professional and quickly. - Room - On the 5th floor room 505. Unlocking the door, would have been handy if the reception would have told me how. Since normally you open the door by card at the lock are of the door. However, such thing wasn’t at the door. Tough quickly I found out that unlocking the door, is actually by putting the card on the far left side of the door at the wall. Might have been handier if it was just at the door itself. A room not very big but clean and tidy. The view tough isn’t really exciting, looking at a wall of a building across. The room has a king size bed, a bath! Toilet and a bidet (luxurious). The bathroom is nice, tough it could use an upgrade since somehow it feels like half of the bathroom had had an upgrade and the other half didn’t. But maybe that is just Italian. The room itself is half cozy. It doesn’t feel very warm by interior. Some paintings or flowers would have been nice. But nevertheless quality again! An entire bowl of candy! And a very full stuffed mini fridge! (Side note, the mini fridge smelled very dirty, like there was growing mold) Only thing missing was a tea dispenser or hot water cooker. Would have been a nice adding. One of the negative points of the room, was the complexity of buttons. There were a stunning 27 buttons... now you would expect that it can’t be complex, but it was. Some buttons switch on and off multiple systems, but you have no clue which is doing what. Even when testing them all. There is even a metal screen (rolling down) at the window. Which have buttons everywhere, even at the side of your bed there are several buttons. The thing is only that the metal screen seemed broken, or at least very slow, because when pushing the buttons, nothing happens for about 5 seconds. The it will give you a heart attaque when it suddenly jumps alive. Really great at night when on accident you push a button... At the end, I pulled some lamp plugs out of the socket to switch off the lights. Maybe an instruction or at least words, to know which is what. At 11 pm, I noticed my room getting hotter and hotter. The thermostat was at 25 celsius... now I tried to lo

I was nervous that this wouldn't be a good experience. La Ciliegina hotel is located steps away from the Piazza Municipio and is a five-minute walk to the port. It is centrally located, being only two minutes from Via Toledo. Despite the bustle below, the room was deathly quiet and about as beautiful as you can expect in the heart of the city! La Ciliegina's entrance is a little tucked away and you take an elevator up to the lobby (a new experience for me, but the other hotel in Naples was the same). From that point, they deliver on everything promised: it is impeccably clean, modern, and comfortable. Although we had great weather, we didn't get the chance to spend much time on the terrace, but it was a nice touch. If you are looking for a hotel with a central location and easy access to transit options, this is your place. Recommended!

I stayed at this hotel for four days, explaining the strength and asking for praise. 1. Strongly recommend a friend who is driving by car. If you are simply a friend who stays in a sea view room, please think twice. The reason is stated later. 2. Not a self-driving friend, please look here. The hotel is located on the mountainside. From the map, it is located near the station Mergellina. After the train station comes out, it is about 500 meters to the sea. There is a slope train to take a ride to the s.antonio station (should call this name, check it yourself) Next), if I don't understand this, please open your google map, you can't get it. After arriving at the station, you need to take a mountain road to get to the hotel. 3. However, I personally went up and down the mountain for two days. Why, because I was in Easter during this time in Naples, the slope station was closed! Fall! Now! That's right, shut it up! So in this case, in addition to walking, it is played. The starting fee is 3.5 Euros, and the thief is fast, and the friends who are not bad money should be directly taxi. 4. Staying at this hotel, if you still can't decide on the sea view room, I really don't understand it. As the hotel is halfway up the mountain, there is no choice of entertainment activities. If you want to find a convenience store, you can only find the van. There is a year-round business on the viewing platform, which is very expensive. 5. The hotel front desk is quite professional and has a good service attitude. Write so much for the time being, and think about what to add later. In short, it is still 9.5 points overall, but if it is not for the sea, if it is not self-driving, it is not recommended to stay at this hotel.
Grand Hotel Capodimonte

Naples|2.3km from downtown
Set in the stunning Capodimonte hill, an enchanted place for history and culture, in the heart of ancient Naples, the Grand Hotel Capodimonte, 4 Star Hotel in Naples, was born from a former convent of 'Stigmatine' nuns, also called 'of the morette', where they hosted little girls rescued from slavery in the Holy Land. The building was founded on 10 May 1859, the last year of Bourbon domination, and today it has been transformed into a charming 4-star hotel that preserves the architectural structure of the time intact. Entering from the ancient door you immediately reach the hall where time seems to have stopped 150 years ago, then taking only a few steps, a breathtaking scenery appears in the eyes of the guests represented by the ancient courtyard illuminated by a beautiful skylight and enriched by the enchanting and spacious rooms, once intended for the sisters of the convent. The Grand Hotel Capodimonte enjoys a privileged position, which makes it the ideal base for excursions to historical and cultural sites, such as the magnificent Capodimonte Museum with the adjoining Bosco, the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, the Astronomical Observatory only to name a few more close and famous.

This hotel is excellent value for money. It is in an industrial area but don’t let that put you off as it is only a short drive from the airport. If you have a hire car, there is a free car park at the hotel. If not, then the local metro station (Gianturco) is a 5 minute walk away and connects to the wider metropolitan area of Naples. Tickets are €1.30 per trip. Breakfast was included at the hotel and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Artemisia Domus - Centro Storico
4.7/551 Reviews
I am so glad I picked to stay at this hotel whilst in naples. Its location was perfect to be able to easily walk around the historic Old Town, reach the museum and the main shopping street. I had read some bad reviews about access and steps but we really didn't find it an issue. It all added to the character of the place. And a lift from floor 1 to floor 4 was available. The hotel was beautifully air conditioned which was amazing given the near 40 degree heat whilst we were there. Our room was a sanctuary to come back to. We stayed in Nicea suite which had beautiful high ceilings and wooden beams and lovely balconette doors with a view of the castle. Whilst I had considered a hotel down by the castle and sea front after walking down there one evening I'm really glad we picked the old town. It really felt like there was a buzzing atmosphere with lots of people out drinking and eating in the streets. On the Saturday night the road to our hotel was filled with what appeared to be local youths attending a couple of small bars which could have been intimidating if we were a bit older hower it was the last night of gay pride so celebrations may have been busier than usual? No matter as once in our room we couldn't hear the noise outside on the street below. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful. They gave us a welcome drink on arrival and sat with is to show us a map which they labelled with key sites. They helped advise us on the train required to visit pompei and they stored our luggage whilst our room was being cleaned. Breakfast was lovely. Lots of fresh fruits, yoghurts, pastries, meats and cheeses as well as cakes and tiramisu. There is no smoking in the rooms but a roof terrace on the 5th floor is available by steps or the lift. On the street outside there are a number of small bars and a 24 vending area for drinks and snacks. I would definitely recommend people to stay here. We loved it

Had one night before our flight home. Room was very clean a decent size and the bed very comfortable. Nicely decorated room and the bathroom was also a very good size with nice toiletries. Location was good for our needs and about 20 minutes in a taxi to the airport. It was also quiet inside despite it's city centre location. Breakfast buffet was continental and had a selection to suit most people. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We would return.
Exe Majestic
4.2/5102 Reviews

We could tell the B&B was designed with love and the owner put effort and time into it. Sadly now the room wasn't in the best shape. We stayed in the Room Dante, which was spacious and with a comfortable bed. Besides that the room didn't fill the requirements expected... The level of cleanliness is barely acceptable. (we are used to German / Austrian level of cleanliness and this hotel doesn't have it). The shower head didn't work properly so we showered with the hand shower. Besides that, the place is really nice. The location is good and even though it is on a very noisy area the room is very quiet. (although we could hear everything happening on the hall). It is well located and you can get very easily to other parts of the city and the main train station. The neighborhood is not very pretty but it works and there are good restaurants to reasonable prices nearby.
