Hotel OBANA

My friend and I stayed in a twin room. We checked in late after returning from the Expo, but the receptionist's kind words helped us relax. We headed to the hotel from Kintetsu Nara Station, enjoying the beautiful cityscape. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm in Nara.

▶️ 230716~230717 (1 night) ▶️ Twin Room (Non-Smoking) ▶️ Cost: 87,949 won ▶️ Personal evaluation - A quaint hotel with a very atmospheric atmosphere in Nara: excellent hospitality - Because it was a weekend, the price was higher than usual, but it was better than other places. - It is an old model, lacks sophistication, and uses a “physical key”: Even though it was remodeled the day after the stay, there was no luggage storage service, and it is unclear whether the physical key will be used as is. - Quiet and secluded: perfect for bringing parents - It's not good to go out late because the hotel door is locked at dawn: I only managed to get in after asking the resident staff. - Be careful when changing clothes as the floor number is low: curtains must be drawn. - The lobby on the first floor is well-equipped with beverages, ice machines, foot massagers, books, etc. - Smoking is prohibited in all rooms. If you smoke, you must do so outside in the hotel parking lot. Deer come down to the area, and nearby convenience stores close early, so you need to purchase items in advance.
