Ando Hotel Nara Wakakusayama -Dlight Life & Hotels-

Wonderful stay with excellent food, but a bizarre late-night experience We had a generally fantastic stay at ANDO Hotel Nara Wakakusayama. The dining experience was exceptional—both the breakfast and dinner were incredibly delicious and well-prepared. We also highly recommend the nighttime stargazing activity. The hotel thoughtfully provided warm tea for everyone during the session, which was a very sweet and cozy touch. The hospitality was truly top-notch. The staff were incredibly friendly, and since they knew we were celebrating my wife’s birthday, they went out of their way to make special arrangements for us. It made our celebration very memorable. However, there was one very bizarre issue during the night. Between 2 AM and 4 AM, we heard constant, loud running footsteps coming from the floor above. It was so loud that it almost sounded like someone was running right inside our room. The weirdest part is that the space directly above our room was supposed to be the hotel lobby or the parking lot. We just had to convince ourselves that it was some energetic small animals running around up there! Overall, it is a beautiful hotel with amazing service and food, though the late-night noise was definitely a bit spooky and affected our sleep.

We had a comfortable stay at the hotel. Staffs are absolutely helpful and considerate, the star appreciation activity and marshmallow roasting are rare but enjoyable experience as well. Will definitely recommend it to my friends.

We stayed at the penthouse which oversaw the whole Nara city and its cherry blossoms so the view from the room is spectacular. The room has a private outdoor bathtub which is available 24/7. It was so nice to take a hot bath outdoor with the view of Nara. The penthouse also has a fireplace which is a nice spot at night for sky glazing.
