Ryokan Hakuhou

A very traditional Japanese-style inn with a great location, near the commercial street and the station. The room was very clean and had a washing machine. However, the toilet and bathroom are shared, and the bathroom is a large Japanese-style bathhouse. It might be a bit shocking for southerners. Overall, it's a good experience.

📍It's located right on the shopping street just outside Kintetsu Nara Station, about a 5-10 minute walk. It's in a great location. The room was clean and tidy, a little small, but it had enough space for two people's luggage. Yukata and towels were provided. The public hot spring on the first floor is quite small, only suitable for three or four people at a time, but you can usually find enough. The owner was very welcoming. If there's no one at the front desk, just call them; the phone is right there. Outside the shopping street, turn right and go straight to Nara's tourist attractions. Turn left and you'll be heading towards JR Nara Station. There are plenty of food options along the way.
