You can relax here. Nara Park is nearby, and Sarusawa Pond is right there, and the scenery is beautiful. The shopping street is also nearby, so it's easy to go shopping. We also booked breakfast included, The food was delicious and nutritious, It was great that even people who don't eat breakfast could feel at ease in their stomachs!

It’s a quaint older hotel, with excellent service staff, especially at check in. Picky people might find a few imperfections, but this is not too unusual in Japan. The most wonderful thing we experienced was the large wooden bath inside our room overlooking the pond. There are only two rooms like this… and if you enjoy such, the hotel should be top rated. So many small streets with traditional shops just beyond the hotel. Many nice restaurants too for all budgets.

This hotel was booked for an event, and I had high expectations based on the reviews on their website and travel sites, but the room was completely different to the photos, and it was a dirty room that looked like a composite or edited photo. It said it was equipped with Wi-Fi, but there was no information about it. To top it off, there were no yukatas even though the place was supposed to be equipped with them. Honestly, it would be better to give it a score of 0.
