Note that starting from December, many temples and shrines close at 4:30 and no one is allowed in after 4:00. Don't take a car to go to Horyuji Temple. Take the Yamato Line from Platform 2 of the JR Line for three stops and walk for 20 minutes; Platform 4 to JR Kyoto takes 48 minutes.

As for the lighting, I have something to tell the hotel a little. The large communal bath is not a hot spring, but it is well managed, comfortable and relaxing. The lobby has a drink server as a service for guests, which was really helpful in the hot season. I booked with breakfast and dinner, but the taste of Nara was very delicious and I enjoyed Nara sake. The location is close to Kintetsu Nara Station and close to tourist spots, so it is a place where you can return to the hotel and rest as soon as you get tired of sightseeing. Convenience stores, shopping streets and souvenir shops are also nearby, making it the best location. If I have a chance to go to Nara again, I definitely want to stay here. At that time, I would be happy if other rooms were renewed. I was looking for a spacious place to relax in my room during my stay, so I decided to stay here. There is a hot spring, but I made a reservation without knowing that I would be able to use it until 10 p.m., and the nearby restaurants close early at night, so I prioritized dinner and checked in, so I couldn't get up early in the morning. In the end, it was not possible to use it. The room I stayed in was really spacious and had several large sofas so I was able to spend a relaxing time. There was no problem with the room itself, but there was an inexplicable smell in the hallway on the accommodation floor, probably due to disinfection. I think the building is valuable because it feels like a good old big hotel from the Showa era. I thought it was a good time as the shop in front of the front desk was stocked with a variety of items. There was a convenience store within walking distance, so I didn't feel inconvenienced.
