had an 8.35am flight the next day and did not want to rush to airport via first train so this was the perfect solution. the room & toilet is so clean even though its an old hotel. its also so spacious! the shuttle bus to and from airport is so convenient, but take note they’re usually packed so buffer some time in case u have to wait for the next bus. they provide buffet breakfast in the morning too, which was delicious. 10/10 would stay again! there happened to be a Narita Gion Festival so we popped by to join in the run as well

Clean and convenient. Free airport shuttle was amazing. Having a Lawson in the lobby along with the free supplies also made it a really convenient stay as I didn’t have to unpack anything

The room was very spacious. The listing mentioned 0.8m twin beds, but the actual room had 1.35m twin beds, with plenty of space for luggage and a sofa. The integrated bathroom was small but functional. It's incredibly convenient for transfers, with frequent shuttles to Narita Airport. The driver and another staff member even helped with luggage, which was excellent service. Highly recommend! Breakfast was very basic and ended early at 9 AM, so it was just enough to get by.

There are 3 shuttle buses per hour from the hotel to the airport. Check-in and check-out are handled via self-service machines, which is very convenient. I initially thought it would take a long time for a whole busload of people to check in, but it was surprisingly quick. The room was spacious, but perhaps because it's an older hotel, there weren't many power outlets, which was a minor inconvenience. I chose a smoking room this time, and it had a super strong smoke smell. If you're traveling with non-smoking companions, I'd advise caution when booking a smoking room. The Lawson convenience store on the first floor has a great variety of items, which I really liked. Also on the first floor, there are self-service machines selling drinks and ice cream. Breakfast at the new wing starts earlier, while the main building's breakfast starts a bit later. I asked the staff, and they said even if you're staying in the main building, you can have breakfast at the new wing if you need to leave early. However, I ended up waking up late and didn't get to experience it. Overall, it's a good experience as an airport transit hotel.

Unexpectedly spacious single room. High cultural inclusivity, found Bibles and other books. Check-in and check-out were extremely convenient. The airport shuttle was punctual and the service attitude was excellent.

Super convenient! The shuttle bus is fast and efficient, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. If you're worried about not having enough time for check-in, I highly recommend staying here the night before your flight.

Coming back from Hokkaido, my flight was delayed, so I booked a room for one night on short notice. I've stayed here before, so I knew the shuttle to the hotel was really convenient, running every twenty minutes. The next morning, I took the shuttle to the airport. It was packed, even the extra seats were full!

For a layover in Narita, Toyoko Inn Honkan is my top pick! The free airport shuttle to and from the terminals is incredibly convenient, and having a Lawson convenience store right in the lobby is perfect for quick restocks. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the free breakfast offered a good variety, enough to grab a quick bite even for early morning flights. The front desk staff were friendly and could speak a little Chinese. The only minor drawback is that the room size isn't huge, but it's more than enough for an overnight stay or a transfer. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. Transit passengers, just go for it!

I didn't have high expectations staying here for an early morning flight, but I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and comfortable the room was. It's actually quite spacious. Although the pictures might look a bit plain, the room is really new and spotless, and I slept very well. You can pick up various toiletries in the lobby, which is a nice touch. The only downsides are that the hotel gets very busy. Unlike other hotels where the shuttle buses only have a few people, this one is always full. You need to get there at least 15 minutes early or you might not get a seat. Checking in also involved a bit of a queue, and I didn't try breakfast as it looked like there was a line for that too. Otherwise, everything else was great.

The hotel shuttle bus to Terminal 3 only takes 5 minutes, and the bus from Terminal 2 to the hotel takes just 20 minutes. The free breakfast was a great bonus! I'll definitely stay here again!

The place is very spacious and has many rooms. The room I booked was huge—I was really surprised. It was spotlessly clean. There is a Lawson convenience store on the ground floor offering plenty of ready-to-eat food. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring bread, rice, salad, and even salmon, along with coffee and juice. I really like this place. There is also a shuttle bus to the airport

We stayed at the hotel as we had an early flight next morning. The hotel was very convenient next to the airport and had shuttle buses running throughout the day. There was also free breakfast from 5.30am onwards though it was not possible to pack for takeaway. Rooms were spacious and clean. However, the toilet flush was rather loud especially in the middle of the night. There was a Lawson on the first floor with convenient snack/food options. Overall, it is a good option for travellers arriving/departing Narita at the odd hours.

Exceeded my expectations! The room was much bigger than a place I stayed in Ueno, but for a lower price. The view from the room was fantastic, I could watch planes take off and land – it was awesome! I hope to be on a high floor again next time when I bring my family, so we can all enjoy watching the planes take off and land ✈️
