The Magnolia by AvantStay

Sonder and AvantStay - AVOID both and BEWARE!! Two groups of us booked separately and months ago with Sonder Zeilhaus specifically for Nashville in August and September 2024 (different dates each group, and different buildings.) One group was informed 3 weeks ago that "property management" had changed from Sonder to AvantStay, that Avantstay would honour the time frame but the price was now doubled and they were offered a 5% discount code. The same happened to the second group, one month before expected arrival. Communications to fix it were met with an auto reply message two days later from AvantStay that asked for re-booking information (which they already had) and with No mention of any pricing details. Shoddy, sneaky, dishonest, and looks like a bait and switch scheme. One of our group had uses Sonder in the past in other cities but the Nashville unit seems corrupt and Sonder obviously endorses this. Never never again. We had to scramble to find other accomodations and pay more as choices were now less than they were many months ago,

We had multiple families with different age groups. This was perfect. Great accommodations and in a great location. Many restaurants within walking distance as well as close to the bicentennial park and farmers market which is open on weekends. Modern, clean and well maintained. Our unit could use some touching up and painting due to some wear and tear however overall we were pleased.

This townhouse is huge. We traveled with our two kids and their partners and there was room for another couple to join us. There is a private balcony. Also a community fire pit but the weather was rainy so we did t get to use that. The neighborhood is cute with many shops and restaurants within safe walking distance. Don’t miss Monell’s for a family style breakfast. We also enjoyed a nice dinner at the Geist. Sonder online chat was very helpful with my questions before arrival.

We loved this place! We were a group of 6 people. All of us agreed that this place was perfect. It was roomy, clean, and a short Uber to Broadway. It was also close to a few restaurants and a short walk to Kroger. We would stay there again!

Great location, tons of room for bigger family or group. Very close to center city (30 min walk to Broadway). Kroger store 5 min away. Restaurants, brewery walking distance. Safe parking on the street or paid in the back of the building.

This was my 2nd stay at this property and I would definitely come back again! This time I came for a girls trip and we all had a great time. Plenty of room, coffeemaker, ice maker and very clean kitchen and bathrooms! We only had an issue with the TV - could not get it to recognize on anyone’s phone no matter what input/source/HDMI we selected. We didn’t bother asking about it because we didn’t really need it, and we played music on our phones. I have no doubt that, had we inquired, the issue would have been handled. The managers are very prompt in responding on the app. All in all, this is a great property in an excellent location, and I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Nashville.
