Towne Hotel

We had originally planned on staying at an Airbnb but didn’t realize how far away we were from the main tourist attractions and what part of the city we were so when we arrived here we were so happy! The staff was welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. They have a parrot Max that they told us has been there since the 90s, was able to get some pets in but he warning he doesn’t like the men very much. The food and happy hour was great as well! Would definitely stay here again if we return to Nassau. Thank you to the staff for taking care of us!

Unfortunately the cleanliness and noise. There appear to be mice in the rooms and the windows do not keep the sound from the outside out.

An ok place to stay if you want to be in Nassau. The rooms and utilities are small but practical. The pool and roof are decent but don’t get much use. The wifi is not reliable throughout, but works pretty well in the lobby. The staff are friendly and Max the parrot greets all visitors. Downtown Nassau was pretty deserted at night in January.

The hotel is obviously an older structure which adds to its charm. However this also works against it by the lack of electrical outlets in the room and the age of the fixtures. I did like the artwork by local artists in the common areas.

Cute little boutique place. Liked that it has a bar and restaurant. Rooms are clean and the AC cold. Will stay again.

It was affordable and convenient for the purpose of my visit. It is also central to other areas/sites and activities.

The walls are super thin, you could literally hear everything that’s happening in the next rooms and outside couldn’t sleep at all. I called to complain and nothing was done. The breakfast I took a bite and threw it away terrible and the shower is extremely small and clog easily. The furnitures were also wore done and broken. Overall wouldn’t recommend.

The location of the hotel makes it convenient walk around near by stores. The room was decent enough, however this place isnt very quiet. Breakfaat was okay(boiled eggs, toast, salami, tea and stick cheese). Overall, the staff was very friendly and made the experience less awful, and you can walk to any store and food joint.

Even at the cheap price it isn't worth it. You don't need to have an alarm, every morning at 6 am these very obnoxious air blowers are going, AC didn't work, I couldn't fit in bathroom and hotel was very dilapidated.
