Stay in Naucalpan This house is located in a very safe and gated neighborhood about 20 minutes from Mexico City. There is little to no public transportation to the area so you will likely need a car or need to use Uber/taxis to walk wherever you go. It is not an easy area to walk as it is next to a busy highway. There are a few restaurants and an Oxxo in the neighborhood and a very short walk from the house. The website listing is not fully correct. The house only sleeps 3 people, there is no barbecue grill, and amenities like a hairdryer, toaster, and emergency contacts were not available. The oven also did not work. Olivia, the owner, cleans the house, every week or two, so it stays relatively clean but it is very inconsistent. She charged me $30 USD or 500 pesos the first time even though we paid a cleaning fee and also broke some of my belongings in the process. The house is connected to a separate part which contains the laundry which you need to ask to use each time and are only allowed to do it at certain times. The owner also lives in a separate part of the house meaning you essentially have a roommate. She keeps food in the fridge and typically will enter the house whether you are home or not. Sometimes she will ask to come in, but not always, so if you are concerned about your personal space or belongings, this is something to be aware of. She also monitored my living commenting on my lighting usage, and chairs on the patio. Listing says smoking not allowed but owner smokes everyday
