The people working here are genuinely nice and very kind. I would say one of the kindest people I have dealt with in many reception areas in the world. I wish I knew their names, the ladies working at night time at the front desk on Friday, September 13th. The room service was great too, although I wish there was more genuine Mexican food, the enchiladas and tostadita were delicious. Literally, every staff member I dealt with were grateful, humble and kind. I hope their manager is proud and kind back to them. Despite my great review, I must say that the only reason I stayed here was because of the low prices I found in Expedia. The hotel is too far away from the gorgeous and tourist spots in downtown Mexico City. I still managed to travel down though. I also ubered it back in the night to avoid scary encounters as some locals do say that Toreo is not the safest area. Uber is extremely convenient in Mexico City as well! So much cheaper and safer than regular cabs. I paid like CAD$13 to Uber from downtown Mexico City to This hotel.

The hotel itself is very good, the service staff is very good, the room is clean and tidy, there is a small gym, the breakfast is beyond my expectations, the variety is rich, the fruit quality is very good. It is stronger than China's smart holiday. The hotel is on the high speed side but the soundproofing is good. The only downside is that the location of the hotel is far from the city centre and there is basically no public transport available. The surrounding environment is very general, there is no place to run, there are not many places to eat, although in Mexico we have not really eaten. . . Because this meeting place is close to the hotel, if you come by tourism, it is more convenient to live in the city center.

There are many convenience stores around, but Chinese people should pay attention to safety when going there. The hotel is large and very clean. I made a mistake for the big bed room. The hotel changed it to a twin room for free. The two beds are estimated to be 1.5 meters. The sink and cloakroom are outside the toilet. Location is also good, I am exhibiting, hit the exhibition hall 80 pesos about 26 yuan, the hotel can help call the car. Mexico is not safe. Try not to stop the car yourself. The hotel has breakfast. The Mexican meal is very full. A breakfast is divided into three steps. First, the bread drink, the fruit, and the last staple food. Generally, I will order the egg and stir the burger. Meals usually take an hour, breakfast is included, but a tip of 40 pesos per day is about 13 yuan. The waiters are very gentlemen, enthusiastic, and some are still in English, so we are willing to give tips.

We chose to stay here for 2 nights - one before and one after a short tour of nearby colonial cities (San Miguel de Allende, Guanajato, Patzcuaro and Morelia) as it was easy to collect our hire car from Avis and then escape from the chaotic city traffic and then return for an overnight to be in relatively easy reach of the airport for our return home. . We had never heard of Mision hotels before but were very impressed by many things about our stay here . Our room on both occasions was large and comfortable.The wifi worked fine. The self service laundry facility cost just 60 pesos for a wash and one dry ( you will need more than 1 dry but its only 30 pesos per extra dry. Every single member of staff - from Haydee on reception. Jesus who looked after our cases, Pedro, Manuel and Ricardo in the dining room and Rodrigo who drove the complimentary shuttle bus were unfailingly pleasant and cheerful and they really made out stay very agreeable even though this is not a place in a particularly attractive location. We had dinner here twice and both times it was excellent value and very tasty, served with attention and good conversation with our waiters and accompanied by a nice bottle of wine on special promotion. Cost was about £20 in total per meal which we considered to be excellent value. The "muralla de chocolate!" pudding was amazing... Breakfast was either buffet (about £10 per head) or you could choose from various options on the menu including man dulce, toast, eggs every which way etc. etc. On our final day we paid extra to have our room until 3 pm so that we could sort out packing etc and make use of the laundry and we also used the shuttle bus to pop out to a nearby commercial centre for a coffee, just to have a change of scene. Cant find anything to fault about this hotel or the staff. However a word of warning on car hire from the Avis office here. Our experience was less impressive. It took us an hour to complete the necessary paperwork , even though we are members of Avis loyalty scheme in the UK and have hired from them before in Canada and the US! It was also a surprise to us to learn that driving licence and passport need to have at least a year before expiry. We were not told of this at any time before but luckily both documents had more than a year left to run.

We rented this hotel for a few days. If you are planning a trip to Mexico City with family and want to save some money this is the hotel for you. The hotel however it’s about 45 minutes away from Zócalo. Our room had double beds but it was very small for four people. There’s not storage or closets just a small draw and a few hangers . Beds are confortable but small. Bathroom it’s average and also small. The entire room it’s well kept and very clean as the facility it’s new . Staff is very nice. Breakfast it’s included but it’s only buffet and very limited although food it’s fresh. Try to book away from the bar outside since it gets loud till 2 am or so. For the price it’s good if you want to save money.
