Jetwing Beach

Room rates were significantly lower on both Jetwing website and *********** for the dates I picked. So, I thought they are having a big promotion or discount for these days, and I made a booking directly, paid the 100% total amount(including taxes) displayed at that time using my credit card and got the confirmation email. Pretty usual right? After several hours I got an email from the Jetwing reservation team saying the rates were lower because of a system glitch and now I have to pay more than what I agreed to. It did not look like a glitch to me as I refreshed the website multiple times to be sure the rates are correct. As any other customer I'd expect Jetwing Beach to honor my reservation which was already confirmed and paid in full. But the reservation team insisted that I pay the "new" rate. This behavior from a 5-star hotel is unacceptable and utterly disappointing. I would avoid this hotel next time as I don't want to be scammed again.

This was our fist destination for our Sri Lanka trip. The reception was awesome. polite friendly reception. we were offered a cool drink and check in was quick. We had a nice room with ocean view. Room was clean and well appointed. we particularly enjoyed that the Hotel is not huge and our meals there. We were half board and dinner and breakfast were a la carte. The food was fresh and the service was awesome. We had special attention one evening by the waiter Manoj ( I think) He . made our last dinner experience exceptional and very memorable. Very attentive and professional. the beach was nice and we enjoyed a restful day lounging on the beach. They offer food and drink services which was very nice. We enjoyed the warm There is a lot of crows yapping during the day. Overall a great stay!

Upon arrival to Sri Lanka, my wife and I had the pleasure of staying here for a few nights on Feb 20. The hotel, food and staff were all amazing. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time here and special care by the hotel staff made our stay amazing. A special thank you to our server Manoj (hope I got your name right) who took care of us during our stay. He is quite professional, attentive and caring. He was he first to introduce us to the amazing Lankan cuisine. We would return her in a minute

Stayed for 5 B&B nights at the end of our touring holiday and really enjoyed it here! The brown decor throughout the hotel is a bit old fashioned and dull, but looking beyond that, the rooms were large and comfortable. We particularly liked the huge walk-in shower. All Sri Lanka hotels seem to have subdued lighting so that's pretty normal. The pool is huge & we used it & the beach area every day - it was very peaceful and the staff were on hand to help with loungers and towels. The views out over the beach are amazing and theres some great normal sri lankan life going on out there with the fishermen & local people enjoying the beach. Yes there are some dogs & crows around but they don't bother anyone & the pool staff chase them away if needed. The beach cafe and hotel restaurant are both very good. I have read some reviews about the staff being slow - they are not, but taking time is a way of life here and its too darned hot to rush around! We liked the unexpected touches eg. fruit shots brought to the loungers, cookies on arrival, flowers at breakfast and there was always plenty of complimentary water in the room (better than other hotels we stayed in). All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate both in and outside the hotel in the evening. There's not much to do in Negombo, most people use it as a stop-over place on their way to/from other parts of the country. The hotel is a air-crew hotel so is booked up pretty much all of the time. The crews are always coming & going but rarely stay more than 1 night so the hotel is quiet and there are always plenty of sunbeds. Overall we really enjoyed it here & would stay again.

Great start to our tour a one night stay here , wish we could have stayed longer , friendly staff and the ala carte food was exquisite, Thank you to the front of house manager this hotel is very special and ensuring our stay in the other Jetwings hotel we used was extra special . Highly recommended

Our 1st hotel for 1 night on our tour of Sri Lanka . Met with cold towel and welcome drink. Hotel room was large and well equipped overlooking the ocean. We ate out in town but the breakfast was excellent along with the staff. Definitely recommend

Stayed overnight after a long flight and the hotel was excellent. Met with a cold towel and drink and our room was made immediately available despite arriving early. The room was lovely and overlooked the wonderful beach. Extremely comfortable hotel on a fabulous beach. We only had breakfast with a set menu but the food was good and well presented
