I have never had such rude staff experience in any hotel. Our breakfast was almost non-existent; the staff claimed they didn't owe us anything specific for breakfast and then claimed the dining room was closed for renovations (which is was not, it was closed as they had few guests and wanted to save staff) without telling us this when we checked in. I complained that we should have been informed when we checked in and they said "we don't owe you explanations". There were no waiters for breakfast. To make matters worse, the breakfast in the lobby had very little food; we had to wait 20 minutes for spoons, for milk; the bread and buns were not fresh and only served once we asked for them twice; there was no hot food; there were no salads (except a vegetable salad which we also had to wait for); no fresh fruit; nothing to put on bread (and we had to wait for them to bring it from the dining room). Disgraceful. After shouting, I finally got a voucher for the next day for a different hotel's breakfast. Our stay was horrible. Better to have told us WHEN WE CHECKED IN that there was no breakfast and no patio [apparently building the succa the one morning] and to have offered us a voucher IN ADVANCE for facilities at a different hotel.
