Desk clerk gave us option to park in front of hotel by applying for city permit. Very convenient for unloading luggage. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Right next to the Castelo Estense, and near the Palazzo Diamanté, the hotel was perfectly situated. The front desk staff were charming, breakfasts were very good, and the room was all we needed.

I fell in love with Ferrara, I especially loved the Hotel Touring. What an absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff, the housekeeping, the atmosphere. Beautiful layout for breakfast. Absolutely stunning location, near all the important sights. I can't recommend this Hotel enough, value for money and just everything is fantastic.

We stayed for three nights. The hotel is in a great central location, right beside the Este Castle. It was very quiet. No internal or external noise any night. WiFi was fast. The staff really stand out. Marco was very helpful, trying in vain to improve the AC to cool down the room. In three days, it never cooled the room below 26 degrees. Sergio and Alla in the breakfast room were both really excellent. Breakfast fare is very good quality and the double espressos were great. Breakfast was busy each of the three mornings. Even so, used plates etc were cleared efficiently. They kept the buffet replenished and coffee refills were served quickly, without prompting The room was a reasonable size with a comfortable bed. A fridge but no safe. The bathroom was let down by the rust-coloured and black mould stains in the shower. This needs work. Because of location and staff, we would stay here again. But only in cooler months, not April through September. We ate at Bar Este and at Cusina e Botega. Both excellent.

A great centrally located hotel, ideal for visiting the historic center of Ferrara. Reception were really helpful when we struggled to get parked outside the hotel, telling us other options and for €5 giving a pass for the car for use in the public carpark. The room was super, bright, clean and with lots of natural light. Divided by a work desk with Sofa one side and bed the other. The TV rotating. The bathroom was well laid out, spacious though did lack shelves to put wash bags etc. Breakfast was excellent, good choices of cold meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, cakes and pastries etc. I would stay here again? yes for sure.

The hotel was clean and in a perfect location. When we arrived, we noticed there was no remote control for A/C, so we opened windows. We asked at the desk, and they said thermostat was set at 22 degrees C. We asked them to check it, as it was warmer than that. The temp outside was 29 degrees C (85F). We requested twice more during the day, with no results. Finally at 9 PM, I asked for a remote, and was finally given one.

Everything was great about the hotel, including a tasty breakfast buffet. However, my room did not have a window, and I couldn't figure out why. The room seemed to face the street, so...? There was a door in the room that seemed to be an exit external to the hotel, but I could not open it. It was locked, so it was useless as an emergency exit. This door had a window, but it was opaque, and only provided daylight, no external view.

The reservation process was easy and convenient (with detailed pre stay emails), at a great location right next to the historic centre, pleasant stay, kind and helpful stuff. Would definitely stay again.

This was a very pleasant hotel to stay in. The location is excellent: just 100 m or so from the castle which is probably the biggest attraction of Ferrara. In fact we had a view of part of the castle from the window of our room. Our room was a corner room, so it may not be typical of other rooms in the hotel, but the room size was perfectly adequate. The bathroom was clean and a good size, although the shower was enclosure was small. For a tall person like me, showering was a bit tricky. Breakfast was good - the usual good range of items one comes to expect from an Italian hotel of this sort. And the coffee was good. The general atmosphere was modern and nice - there were interesting prints on the walls; the staircase was an interesting design, and so on, which helps to make the stay experience enjoyable. It looked like there were quite a few business people staying at the hotel, but it is equally a good choice for tourists on a short stay in Ferrara.
