Hotel Sunce

For us it was great, we have been coming here for 5 years now in Hotel Sunce in Neum. Breakfast is perfect, different types of sandwiches, toppings of your choice, coffee, tea, milk orange juice Apple juice.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during an organized tour in Croatia. The hotel is very satisfactory as a stopover (we were on day trips), the rooms are clean, the dinner is ok, the hotel is right on the seafront with a beautiful view, the coach can be stop at the foot of the hotel which is very practical. In a word, our group was very satisfied.

Family vacation, 3 adults 1 teenager aged 13. Stay booked via Fram voyage. It is important to take into account that the hotel is in Bosnia and not in Croatia, it is 50 minutes from Dubrovnik. The hotel is OK, we took 2 sea view rooms (very beautiful view) and were on the 7th floor. Our rooms were OK (neither good nor bad) but a little dated. Staff ok. Half board stay. Meals, Ok for 4 to 5 days because the choice is not very varied. Neum being a very lively seaside resort, there are many restaurants and snack bars around for lunch. I do not recommend more than 6 days in Neum, in terms of activities and things to see it is quite limited: Mostar and the Kravice waterfalls, sea trip to do in the center of Neum to go to the restaurant/bar platform , beach/swimming pool hotel, Dubrovnik city, for other visits you will either have to take excursions with the hotel for no less than 50€/person or have a car but everything is at least 1 hour away by car. Car rental possible from the hotel contact. Big negative point: the city being very lively, the rooms overlooking the sea are not soundproofed at all, impossible to sleep before 1 a.m. Ask for rooms below the 4th floor which are double glazed. Other points, we did not find the Bosnians very pleasant or smiling. For your information, Neum is the equivalent of our St Tropez, frequented mainly by the Bosnian and Croatian bourgeoisie as well as Albanians. Positive points: lively city, prices much more affordable than Croatia, pebble beach but turquoise and warm water. We enjoyed our stay. To do, but for a short stay: starting point or stops to discover the Dalmatian coast which is magnificent.

It is a large hotel with a restaurant on the 5th floor with a beautiful sea view and an outdoor pool right next to the sea. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the hotel is ok, but Neum doesn't have an old town center to walk around - like another small Croatian city. But this hotel is a great place for a rest.

J'ai participé à un circuit de la "côte dalmate" avec une chambre 1er prix au 6ème étage de l'hôtel SUNCE à NEUM. Cette chambre avait une fenêtre avec un vitrage simple qui laissait passer le bruit. Tous les soirs j'ai subi la musique de la discothèque en bas de l'hôtel ainsi que de 2 bars de 21h à 1h du matin. Je suis allée réclamer dès le 1er soir à la réception, ainsi que le lendemain pour obtenir un changement de chambre que l'hôtel m'a refusé. Impossible de lire, de regarder ou d'écouter des vidéos dans un tel vacarme. Impossible de dormir correctement même avec des bouchons d'oreilles. Du point de vue des repas, c'est très moyen avec très peu de spécialités locales. Le choix en dessert était très limité avec des crèmes vanille/chocolat tous les jours, des gâteaux à la crème toujours identiques et de la pastèque/melon/quetsches comme fruits. Pas de carafe d'eau à table : les boissons sont en supplément. Les transats/parasols sont payants à 3€ par jour. Le personnel à la réception ne comprend pas bien l'anglais, encore moins le français. Ils ne sont pas très accueillants ni souriants d'ailleurs. Attention à la monnaie qui n'est pas l'euro. En tant que touriste, on essaie systématiquement de vous arnaquer quant au change. En rentrant, j'ai demandé le remboursement du supplément chambre individuelle auprès de PROMOVACANCES (environ 200€). Etant donné qu'il y a plusieurs intermédiaires, je n'ai obtenu qu'un avoir de 75€ à valoir sur un futur séjour.
