I received the wrong Hotel information about a bug issue. This hotel was actually good. The service was good and the staff was wonderful. I have notified the correct hotel of the issue they have. While this property is well located and looks good from the outside, once you get into the rooms you see another story. Our room, while clean, was in disrepair. Here is a list of the issue we found Kitchen The ice maker did not work Only one burner on the stove worked There was missing silverware Some silverware showed obvious damage Bathroom The light fixture in the bathroom was VERY rusty The towel hanger on the wall would fall off each time you hung a towel on it There were obvious repairs in the walls that were done shoddily The toilet was very difficult to flush Living Space Both beds appeard to have damaged mattress/box spring...one side of each bed was sunken in The air conditioner had difficulty cooling the room Bedside phone wouldnt' work...I needed to call the front desk and they couldn't hear me Other Someone on my floor was smoking tobacco and *********. The smell made it's way into our room. It was reported to the front desk and nothing was done. When you pay to stay at a smoke free property, that's exactly what you should expect to get....no smoke...of any kind. Staff The staff at this property are the sole saving grace. We found them to be pleasant and helpful (except for the smoking issue). Caviat Emptor.

I was scared at first to what I might find after reading a few negative reviews but I am so happy I decided to give them a try. This hotel was great. Upon arriving on 12-23-22 the daytime front desk clerk was amazing. She was so welcoming. All staff I encountered while there was great. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit. Keep up the good Job.

The hotel is right off I-35 and is a hidden gem. The place is surprisingly nice with granite countertops, granite bathrooms and granite inlay in the showers. The carpet is nice and fluffy, air conditioners are temperature controlled. The hotel includes tiny soaps and shampoos, conditioners and a hair dryer. It looked sterling when I walked in. The bed is comfy and firm, and smells like clean linen . The room has a small-to-medium sized fridge for snacks and Subway sandwiches. The desk personnel appear to fulfill requests upon demand. Reminds me of a 4-star hotel minus a Starbucks and breakfast amenities. Not allot of frills, but for the price you absolutely cannot beat it.

Great stay here with friends. Lots of room in a double Queen with a couch, desk, and small kitchen area. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Sink area is separate from shower and toilet room. Nice feature when several people are trying to get ready at the same time. Location was very convenient to shopping, restaurants, I-35, and the town of Gruene.

Great location and has a wonderful historical feel when you exit out through the back !!!! Tall trees I would say over a hundred years old and a natural river bank that follows up pretty close to Guadalupe River from the comal River ... definitely would recommend this place for a secluded retreat with great energy!!!! Nestled trees , stocked River with cat fish , bass and also trout near fall season because of the climate ... thankyou guys for accommodating our family during our stay !!! Staff was friendly , courteous and had the appropriate cautions set into place during this difficult time due to the pandemic of covid ...
