Best Western Plus Newark/Christiana Inn

The rooms were pretty big. I would not walk in the room without shoes. The floor carpet damp. The bathroom floor tiles seemed old. But for an old facility, they did their best keeping it clean. The frontdesk staff was friendly. But soon hundreds of highschool kids in school trip flooded in. Around 2 in the morning some kind of heating unit started roaring and the dishes in the cabinet started rattling and almost fell. My wife moved them before they fell. But we all woke up. Then around 5 in the morning I went down because I couldn't sleep and wanted to catch up on emails. But the lobby was packed with these high school kids waiting to get on a bus. So I went back to the room and there were buses with the engine on, waiting right in front of our window for almost an hour. Until 6 in the morning. Finally, after 6, the kids left so I went back down. They made a huge mess in the breakfast area. The breakfast was very basic. But the coffee was good. Seattles Best. Overall... I think the holel was "decent" considering the price.

The room was nice, very little staff interaction which was not bad. Hot tub was not working and that was a disappointment.

Glad I stayed there. property was simple, but room had everything you needed. Also, good breakfast selection for the price paid.

Room’s bed was not impressive at all, breakfast needs a huge improvement. If you can’t afford something decent, just don’t offer it.
