Red Roof Inn & Suites Wilmington - New Castle

Decent hotel for the price. Location was exactly where I needed. At least at the time I was there (Aug 2024) I’d recommend requesting a first floor room.

No bad, nice location, near the riverfront Wilmington where you can discover good restaurants!!!

Not recommended. Rooms are in terrible shape, holes on closet doors, no lamp shades, stained bedding, bathroom lighting not working, and missing microwave. Hallways smelled damp and smokey. Brought it to the front desk attention, and they simply did not care. Asked for someone to come and fix light in bathroom and was told that no one had complained about it before, and it was too late for someone to come out. Yes that was their answer.

You are so correct in asking if the room was neglected yes it was the bed give an appearance of being clean but it wasn’t.

Too much noice outer area in lobby , but bed is very comfortable , room is huge !!! No room service !!!

Staff not friendly at all, rooms old and everything broken in the room. Iron, Lights, phone all broken. Staff rude....

There was no one at the front desk when i checked in.After 15 to 18 min wait, i finally get a room key..go to the room and the key does not work. I had to go back and forth THREE times before i got a key to work. Then i had to jiggle the key to get it to work

I Hate Giving Bad Reviews But They Earned It Not a good place to stay. Our room should not have been rented out by the property. Among other things, we had horrible animal smell, holes in the bathroom door, mold on ceiling in the bathroom, cigarette burns on the comforter and more. We were originally going to stay 4 nights but checked out the first morning, refund or no refund. I can share pictures and videos if anyone would like to see it.

The staff was very courteous. The room was nice and quiet.
