It's a complete scam. I booked a room at Viva Hotel for the 31st of August with a 10 AM check-in. When we arrived at the reception, we were told to wait, and we had to wait for 30-35 minutes. Even after that, their behavior was so rude, as if we were staying for free. Finally, we got a room and ordered food, but the quality was just average. The main reason I'm writing this review is that when it was time to check out, one of the staff members was standing right outside our room. He asked for the keys and told us to inform the reception that the keys were given to 'Ravi.' His name is Ravi, and you can recognize him because he has an issue with one of his eyes. When I handed him the keys, he called me back and said, 'Sir, you have stained the bedsheet, and if I report this to the reception, they'll charge you between 2000 to 2500 rupees.' Believe me, that bedsheet wasn't even worth 200 rupees. Then dear Ravi said, 'You can settle this matter here by giving me 1000-1500 rupees.' I replied, 'Sure, I'll give you the money, but I'll definitely leave a review about this conversation.' After that, he said, 'Don't worry, I'll handle it.' I didn't like this behavior at all because frauds like Ravi, who tarnish the hotel's reputation, are a disgrace to India. I will also file a complaint with "The Hotel Corporation of India" because people like him have turned this into a business. So, dear Ravi should be fired for such behavior, and the rude receptionist should be too.
