Roami at the Mandeville

Worst experience ever. We booked this place for the pool. Pool was in disrepair but we were not notified until the day we checked in. Maggots outside our unit door.

We have stayed here twice and come to NOLA frequently. This was a hit last time we stayed hence we booked again this year expecting another positive stay. Unfortunately we have run into a few problems and management has been slow/reluctant (if at all) to rectify the problems: 1. First morning we woke up to no electricity, 90f outside. When we called to notify them electricity was out the woman said “oh maintenance doesn’t start their day until 9am (we called at 655am? I thought a hotel would have some emergency electrician/maintenance people on call for situations like this). Thankfully they did fix it quickly. 2. We chose this location for the pool amenity. The pool was broken/under maintenance when we arrived. We were notified of this the day we arrived. When you look at the picture of the pool- it clearly did not just “break” that day. No compensation for the lack of amenity was offered (that had been a part of our decision to stay here). 3. Second morning I walked outside our unit and found MAGGOTS all over the hallway outside the unit and all over the sidewalk directly outside of the entry way. We called management at 8:09am, they “put in a ticket” to have this cleaned and it’s now 11:53am. Just called management again and they said they were sending a follow up ticket to maintenance but “this should rectified today”. I’m shocked that maggots, out of all of my complaints, wasn’t prioritized but I guess that speaks volumes in regards to their management and hospitality. This one star for a review is generous.

Bring Ear Plugs Nice space, convenient location, but street & sidewalk noise… also a problem when other guests return from a night out at 3:30 in the morning and proceed to bang around their room. Provide coffee…which is nice …shower leaks…which is not so nice. Also, not a single place in the large unit to hang your clothes… no closet… no rod … Nothing!

They moved our room upstairs. This made the listing very difficult for one of our guests in our party.

Feels like I live there. The mattress was not comfortable, hard as a rock Every thing else was really good. Prefer this place over others.

NOLA in March 2025 The unit was impressive. My whole family was pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment. Everything was great, clean and comfortable.
