this beautifully restored historic home on magazine street is the perfect spot for your stay in new orleans! with all the amenities you could ask for, you can enjoy a stress-free visit to new orleans!

guests will have exclusive and uninterrupted access to the entirety of the 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom space including balcony overlooking magazine street (along several parade routes during mardi gras!), rear balcony, living/dining room, kitchen, and laundry. note this home is a duplex and the entire bottom is occupied by other residents while the entire upper floor is the space being offered.
• normal check-in time is 4pm on the arrival date. for check-in's from 12:30pm - 4:00pm, it's an extra $50 to have an extra cleaner assist with servicing the property. check-in's before 12:30pm would require booking the previous night at a much discounted rate. contact host for details.
cleaning
while sanitizing the homes, cleaners are:
-wearing disposable gloves to clean and disinfect.
-using disinfectant on surfaces before wiping clean.
-engaging in heightened cleaning of frequently touched surfaces such as tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, faucets, remotes, etc.
-using a different set of gloves to remove dirty linens and trash, and a new set of gloves for clean linens.
-removing all garbage from the premises first in order to avoid contamination
disinfecting
while disinfecting the homes, cleaners are:
-using bleach and/or alcohol solutions per cdc guidelines
-allowing the surfaces to air dry so that the disinfectant kills as many pathogens as possible
laundering
while laundering, the cleaners are:
-disinfecting couches and soft surfaces (carpets/rugs/drapes) with an epa-registered household disinfectant that meets cdc guidelines.
-wearing disposable gloves when handling dirty laundry and keeping dirty linens/towels separated from clean
-laundering when possible at the highest temperature for linens.
*additional notes*
-all of our linens and towels are laundered off site at a laundry facility using the warmest water setting allowed by manufacturer’s instructions. only dye free and hypoallergenic laundry products are used (wool dryer balls / all free & clear detergent).
-our cleaning team has been updated on cdc guidelines for hand washing, face covering, and social distancing to reduce the potential for incidental transmission of germs both at home and at work.
-our cleaning team follows a checklist for each room to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation.
exterior cameras present to verify guest occupancy. no off street or reserved parking provided, however, the is ample street parking on nearby side streets and on magazine street (apart from special events such as mardi gras).
