I can't rave enough about this place. I will make my top 7 list of things I really appreciated about it. In no particular order: 1. Beautifully and funkily decorated. Bright colors, stained glass, funky art. It created a sublime vibe for our ladies weekend. 2. The host was great to work with. They were able to accommodate our desired check-in/check-out times, and overall exuded a "big easy" vibe that made the stay easy. 3. There were 4 different dwellings, each with its own charm and amenities. It allowed the people in our group to customize/find the right fit for each person. 4. Climate control was GREAT. Late June in NOLA is super hot, and we didn't have a single issue with rooms being too hot or too cold or too stuffy. It was effortless. 5. Frogs. There is a symphony of frogs singing at night in the back of the property. Beautiful, eery, and unique. 6. Fantastic location! Just a few blocks from Frenchmen street and and east walk to the French Quarter. 7. Nice beds and bedding. They didn't skimp here. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful space and attentive hosts without being overbearing. Very communicative and kind! Plenty of things to do in walking distance, and the Quarter isn’t too far. Overall a great experience, we will keep this stay in our rotation as we visit often.

Our large group of 3 families with adult children had a wonderful stay at B&W Courtyards. We enjoyed the neighborhood vibe and the easy quick walk to Frenchman street. We were able to walk to the French Quarter during the day (easy cab ride at night) and it was quick Uber ride to the Fairgrounds for Jazz Fest. The best feature of the property is that it is 3 distinct building which provided the perfect balance between enjoying a large community of Friends and family while affording everyone privacy. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, the host was very responsive and provided quick answers to our questions. They even allowed us to store our luggage when our flights were delayed and we ended up with a few extra hours in town. Highly recommend. Will likely book this rental again.

Our family of 3 stayed at B&W Courtyards in the Bungalow room over the winter holidays and had a great time. The Bungalow was clean and spacious and we appreciated the extra room in the downstairs living space. We loved how it was a quiet neighborhood location away from the hustle and bustle, but still within walking distance of the French Quarter and other attractions. We also tried many great restaurants in the neighborhood. We highly recommend staying here when visiting New Orleans!

This place is such a quaint hidden gem! Tucked away just enough to feel private and peaceful, yet still close to everything you might need. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, with cozy touches everywhere. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. I truly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely come back again!

We went to NO to celebrate my 60th birthday and this property was awesome! There were 12 of us and the setup of the property worked out perfectly. The rooms and main house were so cute and quaint. We defintely felt like we were in New Orleans. Walking through the front door into the courtyard, we instantly knew we made the right decision to stay here. All of the beds were extremely comfortable. The customer service we recieved was top notch! One group ended up coming in a day early and they were so accomodating to our change. They also let us have a late check out. This place is perfect for groups of people and is in a great location, within walking distance to a wonderful grocery store (Roberts), the little restaurant across the street (Horn's), the Ayu bakery down on Frenchman and of course to the French Quarter. We would defintely stay here again.

I would not stay here again for the following reasons 1. I found a large dead bug on the floor next to my bed. When I sent the owner a photo she said she was sorry but although they have the place sprayed quarterly these bugs get in due to the age of the property. 2. The interior of the two rooms felt very old and strange looking. The photos must be photoshopped 3. There is no one on site and there were no instructions on how to get extra soap- there was one small bar of soap and one tiny bottle of body wash. When we texted the owner she explained that there were extra supplies in an outdoor cabinet. 4. We were instructed to empty our own trash. Outrageous. And we paid $660 for a two night stay!

Very quirky and unique accommodation. We loved staying here, it was easy walking distance from the French Quarter. The courtyard was really relaxing to sit with a coffee in the morning. We thought it was hilarious that the main door to the Courtyard Room opened straight into the bathroom - so you'd need to be really comfortable with your travelling companion. The area around the accommodation felt very safe and quiet.

Charming cottage within walking distance to the Frenchmen Market that is very safe. We enjoyed taking pictures in the courtyard and th host was very accommodating. My friends have already told me that when we return, they would like to stay again.

This worked well for 5 couples and a few other visitors. Everyone had space when they needed it and could get together for meal and to visit. Air conditioning and hot tub worked well. The king beds all were comfortable for a 280 lb, 6'4'' big guy. Great location. Facility was very responsive to small problem and questions.

I had a wonderful stay at b&w courtyards this past week. The check in instructions were simple and staff was available by text whenever I needed anything. They let me store my bags before and after my stay so I was able to wander a little extra. I was solo and felt safe walking to the place and inside the courtyards. It was very quiet! It’s very close to the French quarter and many restaurants and shops. I would recommend Orange Couch for coffee just around the corner - I went everyday! The courtyards were very cute. My room was much bigger than I anticipated with an extremely large bathroom. Everything worked great and I never needed any assistance. They had complimentary snacks and coffee set up which was a nice touch. I would stay again!

We visited in February with a group of 13. We reserved the entire property and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The accommodations were wonderful, the location was in walking distance to Frenchman Street, Bourbon street, shops and anything else you would need. We would highly recommend horns, a wonderful breakfast place that is only one block away. The property managers could not have been more accommodating, responsive or helpful for any questions or issues that we had during our stay. We will definitely be returning the next time we come to NOLA.

Great stay, highly recommended! B&W was greatly communicative before during and after our trip. We had one minor issue with thermostat and Jennifer fixed it immediately, all over text. The neighborhood is great with lots to explore with Frenchmen St and French Quarter walking distance. The property itself is older with lots of character and bit of history... perfect. We stayed in the Courtyard Room which was quiet and dark for a good nap getting back from night out. We definitely recommend B&W and look forward to coming back!

Utterly bewitching place to stay. We adored every minute. B&W Courtyards is so close to Frenchman's, the Quarter, Bywater, Crescent Park, and many other places. Still, most importantly, it is located in a proper neighbourhood with corner bars, little cafes (Try Frady's, Cafe Alma, L'il Dizzys, Petit Clouette, Rosalitas) and bodegas and some big hitters too (Bywater American Bistro, Bacchanal, St Roh Market, Bywater Bakery, The Country Club, Ayu Bakery etc). We spent much time walking, exploring the surrounding streets, and sitting in the cute little courtyard, which is completely private and shielded from the road. The rooms are clean, with huge beds, very comfy and quiet. My only quibble is that the toilet in our cottage had no door, so unless you are happy to be very open in front of your partner, they will have to shut themselves in the bedroom while you use the toilet. This means they won't be able to go outside until you have finished. Even a small curtain on a rail would be better than nothing. I walked around the neighbourhood at all hours of the day and night and felt safe. The pavements can be treacherous though.

Hi - our trip was wonderful from beginning to end.  The B&W Courtyards team sent a message a couple days ahead of travel, with instructions on finding the property, and the door codes for when we arrived.  When we got into the Barbados Bungalow, everything was set up for us.  Fresh linens on the bed and also the fold out couch plus fresh towels.  Everything was very clean (note, we did check for bedbugs and there were ZERO!!).  There were thoughtful items as well - coffee filters for the coffee maker, some dish soap and a new sponge, plus a roll of extra trash bags under the bag that was already in the bin.  Your website gave info on the nearest grocery store (Robert), which made it easy to stock up.  We needed to use the oven, and it did not seem like it was lighting (it's gas), so Jennifer sent Sid over to have a look and he got it started ("it just needs a few minutes") so we could cook a pizza with the fresh dough and toppings we brought.  Very helpful! It was so nice to sit outside in the courtyard - morning coffee and evening wine! - with the cute table and chair setup, as well as the lounge chairs around the hot tub.  Beautiful plantings and very peaceful and quiet (apart from the fighter jets coming overhead!). The location is so convenient.  We didn't have a car and didn't need one.  Can easily walk to the grocery/pharmacy (you buy transit passes there!), Frenchman Street, and of course the French Quarter.  The streetcar 49 line terminates just a few blocks away, and from that line you can access the rest of the system and sightsee all over New Orleans.  Regarding walking, we had no problem, but if guests use a wheelchair or walker, or a stroller for kids, the neighborhood's brick sidewalks are ::challenging::! We made our reservation directly with you (which was super easy), so can post this on Trip Advisor as well.  It's such a special place!  We will be back!
