The Irish House

It was comfortable five bedrooms three beds barking outside although I wish they would’ve included that in the prize charged an extra $40 a night. There is an elevator in the two-story building. It’s on the other side rooms were comfortable. There was no heat and it was unseasonably cold, I would recommend it though

We didn't feel we received value for the amount we paid to stay for 4 nights. The photos are a bit deceiving, all three units are above an AT&T store, the entrance to the units is up a back staircase from the AT&T store's parking lot next to a fast food restaurant parking lot. Not as "cute" as the photos give the impression. We like to walk but we felt we were too far away to walk to anything, you're definitely not close enough to the attractions downtown. The trolley is convenient and runs on Saint Charles Street. A taxi driver who dropped us off commented that the neighborhood is not safe to walk in at night. The unit while clean was not in great shape, black marks on the walls, a picture that was supposed to be hanging was on the floor. Because the floors are likely the original floors, it is a loud building when people are inside, we were able to hear other guests walking down the main corridor with the wood floors creaking day and night. Overall, not what we were expecting for the price we paid.
