The Luzianne

Terrible customer service experience with my booking. I received a call that my reservation will be canceled because Roami no longer has possession of the property. No suitable property is available to meet my needs. I was informed that "I" need to contact the booking company, VRBO, and cancel. Taking my time when Roami is causing this time-consuming inconvenience for me, not to mention I had to start over to find my accommodations AGAIN. ENOUGH of my time spent on this project. I asked the agent to execute whatever cancellation was needed to transact and was told, "THEY don't do this"! I asked again, and she told me she did not understand my request and kept pushing back on ME for me to do ALL THE WORK! UPSET, YES I am, dissatisfied INDEED!. Will I give Roami a very unfavorable review? "COUNT ON IT!" Terrible policy and representation.

This property is managed Roami, a company based in New Orleans. Based on our recent experience with them, all potential guests should STRONGLY reconsider staying at ANY location under Roami's management. As is easily established by online research, they have a years-long history of poor maintenance, wretched customer service, and stony indifference to the safety and comfort of guests. Their properties are regularly found to be dirty, uncomfortable, lacking in essential supplies, and generally unsatisfactory. More importantly, they are utterly unmoved by the inconveniences suffered by their guests. If you chose to stay here, do not expect even a modicum of sympathy or consideration from these heartless, greedy hosts.

Single dad with two older teenagers on Spring Break. Our stay at Roami at the Luzianne in New Orleans was enjoyable. I made my reservation directly through their corporate website, Jazzie, the agent who assisted me, was incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring a seamless booking process. We did have an issue with our room accommodations, but it was resolved to my satisfaction after our return home. The accommodations at Roami are modern and comfortable, perfectly situated in the bustling central business district. We particularly enjoyed the convenience of having the Luzianne Cafe right next door, although do note that it's only open from Wednesday through Sunday. Across the street is Meril, named after Chef Emeril Lagasse's daughter, which is a fantastic spot for any celebration or gathering. A downside worth mentioning is the parking situation. Guests are required to park their vehicles in a garage that's about a 7-minute walk away. While the $30 per day fee might seem reasonable at first, the lack of in and out privileges can quickly add up, making it a considerable expense for those with vehicles. However, we discovered a silver lining during our stay: the excellent public transportation system. By downloading the city's RTA Le Pass app, I was able to purchase unlimited daily rides for just $3.00 per person, making getting around the city a breeze. Overall, our experience at Roami at the Luzianne was highly enjoyable. With its modern accommodations and convenient location, it's certainly a place I would recommend to anyone visiting New Orleans.
