The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. Beautiful surroundings of the hotel

The location was perfect, so close to the French Quarter, great food, and the water. Great welcoming service started when we arrived in the rental car. Bell hop was very attentive and full of answers for our questions of the area. We visited the pool and it was nicely arranged with several seating options. We did not order food but it was available along with your choice of beverage. Service at the pool was very friendly. We were also visited at our room asking if we need any water, room service, or anything else. We did use the concierge for dinner suggestions, and the food was great! The Windsor Court Hotel does offer a few restaurant choices however being in New Orleans for one night we wanted to experience its culture.

Good location, just on the French street, 5 minutes walk from each red store. The hotel is beautiful and the small indoor garden is perfect for afternoon tea. The local Jumbo soup is also available for free at the hotel lobby, similar to the black pepper seafood soup, which tastes good. At the time of check-in, the front desk asked me if I would upgrade the room type, I agreed, but the upgraded room was charge100 knife in the club room, but the room was small, only half a window, so I decided to change back to the original garden interior room, I think The room is bigger and more comfortable.
Bourbon Orleans Hotel
4.3/5Excellent101 Reviews
New Orleans|1.08km from downtown
Our family spent two nights at the Bourbon Hotel (October 10-12). We read the reviews and were expecting an upscale hotel experience. We travel very often in the US and around the world, in all types of hotels-from basic 3 starts accommodations to luxury resorts. We do not go to hotels unless we verify recommendations and find the best fit. At most, the reviews are accurate. At times, slightly non-representing, nevertheless, we realize that it is a matter of taste. However, it is rare that an experience is so far fetched from the positive review that I had to write one myself (I very rarely do). From the moment we entered, it was a clear that we are entering a once glamorous venue which was not maintained, not clean with an atmosphere in lobby as if we entered a train station and not a hotel. The room itself was also filthy, with toe nails under our bed, hair in the closet and dust in the room. There was no soap, and housekeeping did not clean at all the following morning. The door to the balcony does not close properly and therefore it is very noisy. The empty mini bar was more of a heater than a cooler. During the whole duration of our stay, the same garbage items were not removed from the elevator and others not cleaned in lobby. When we attempted to order room service as stated on the hotel website, we were told that “we no longer deliver food to room” with no apology given. When we went to try our luck at the breakfast buffet, we were told “we no longer offer it”. We were fine with a-la-carte but then we found out that they only offer bar seating and no high chair was provided for our daughter. Again, with no apology. They were filming a series outside of the hotel, which by itself is a cool thing, but not when it makes the hotel a production room, filthy, messy, noisy and again-the hotel does not acknowledge it. The worst moment was when we needed to wait 15 minutes in the heat to get back to the hotel as the small street was closed for filming. Again, no apology given. When we needed the front desk supervisor’s assistance in a billing matter concerning tax, we were dismissed in the most vulgar and not-service-oriented manner, despite the fact that they clearly did not follow State and Federal Law. We tried to explain the issue but again, there was a total lack of willingness to listen. Bottom line, this hotel is a disgrace. Maybe years ago it deserved 4 stars, today it is a mediocre youth hostel that charges like a luxury hotel. Avoid.

This was a stop over as our train stopped for the night in New Orleans and was to leave out in the morning. We arrived very late as our train had been delayed and staff was very helpful in getting us checked in. The room was quite comfortable. It had a refrigerator but no microwave which we would have greatly appreciated. We had to be up early to catch our train and we were unable to have a hot breakfast due to the lack of the microwave. Other than that, everything was fine. Hope to come back when we can stay longer.

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to all the sights. The rooftop pool is fabulous and our children loved it. Unfortunately, our experience was not perfect and that was due to the staff being rude to us on two different occasions. Firstly, I asked if they could get us a small amount of milk for our baby's bottle. We have stayed at many hotels and have never, ever, been charged for a hotel providing a small cup of milk to us. We were therefore surprised when they tried to charge us a very expensive rate for a small cup of milk. I complained because this was the first time we have ever had a hotel try to charge us. They did eventually give it to us for free but the staff were not very pleasant about it. In the morning, I requested late checkout because it was raining and we had 3 young kids. Again, the staff member was rude and actually hung up the phone on me after eventually, reluctantly, agreeing to give us an extra hour. Unfortunately, the rude treatment from those two staff members made our experience less enjoyable. I would say that, having stayed at many places where staff bend over backwards to accommodate families with young children, this hotel could do more to be child-friendly.

The room is large, the bathroom area is also large, it feels suitable for friends to go out together, there are two sinks, girls can make up at the same time~ There is no view from the window of the hotel, but the location is very good. You can go to Canal Street in a few minutes and buy a public transport ticket to go to all the attractions. Although there is no driving, the hotel has a parking lot with valet parking and car service. The highlight is the excellent service attitude. There is a travel consultation downstairs. You can make reservations for various special tours and restaurant reservations. There are many companies and lines that can pick up and drop off at the hotel entrance. The price is almost the same as that of the travel agency. The staff also Would recommend, for example, a few points to swamp crocodiles and more, in short, satisfied!

Good location not far from bourbon street only problem was that the weather knocked out the tv signal so no tv the entire stay unless you bought a $20 hbo movie.. Parking was a bit tricky because as soon as you pull up the parking garage door opens up for you. I was told parking was $25 but I guess to park inside the inviting garage is $45 which there were no clear signs posted with that information. $25 is for the outside non-lit lot next to the parking garage. Wish I knew that information prior to entering the parking garage. The nice thing about this hotel is that has balconies although they are in rough condition

The location of the hotel is very good. I originally booked a two-night homestay in the garden area. As a result, the items I played were all near the hotel. I was looking for a parking space every day. When I moved the car, I would pay a parking fee. Fees, but the hotel is very close to the attractions to be played, you can not, so there is no need to move around ~ Ole next to it, the river view is also really good !! Hope there is a chance to go again ~

I was racially profiled at this hotel. I was accused of stealing. The clerk(white lady) said she saw me put a honey bun in my shirt! I had to expose myself in front of everyone to prove my innocence! The clerk just shrug her shoulders like oh well, it looked like you put something in your shirt! Then the lady refuses to check me out!!!!!! How humiliating and embarrassing! The distress is overwhelming!! Regardless of the comp nights given by the hotel manager, Chris, this issue is still unresolved! I have not been able to speak the the GM about this matter to date. The email I was given by the hotel manager for Beth Ables, have been undeliverable. I would not recommend staying at this hotel! I would not recommend this hotel!!!!! My stay was August 26-28, 2022. New Orleans|0.42km from downtown
The accommodations for this hotel were standard. When we arrived there was a dirty, used rubber glove on the floor in the bathroom. Some of the metal stuff was loose or falling off. The room was not pristine. It was dusty. We all have asthma so are sensitive to dust and musty air. The hotel has, I think, 18 floors and is historic in the French Quarter. We wanted to see the gun and go to Hard Rock, in walking distance, but the hotel itself was a zoo and I hated the valet parking system. Do not stay here if you want easy access to items in your vehicle. Also, the check in AND out process was lengthy and frustrating. At least an hour between the two. The valet charge is $46.00 on top of the actual hotel fee. The valet employees were young, rude and disinterested. We interrupted one as he was eating. He never said a word and didn't verbally accept my apology for interrupting. He just begrudgingly took us to our car so we could retrieve a forgotten cell phone and some snacks. This hotel cost me more time and frustration than it was worth. It was open to the public so people were just sitting, standing and leaning 360 at the check in. I HATED the 150% busyness, people and noise (even though I enjoyed our evening on Bourbon Street). I guess I expected the INSIDE of the hotel to be ”normal” and more of a Refuge from all the parranda... It was not. I will never, ever, stay hete again.

Two days before arriving, we called to confirm our reservations. The staff didn't think it would be a good idea to let us know the AC in the hotel would be out for our stay. Thanks for the sweatbox accommodations La Quinta. Then when you walk in, your jumped by another person at a desk wanting to sell you a time share. Hallways were dark for some reason. Day staff, especially the lady at the desk, had a serious attitude problem. If you read google reviews on this hotel, the ”owner” has responded to many of the complaints, but that's about all he does. AC being out in a hotel in the South is kinda an important detail that they conveniently forgot to mention until we were standing in the lobby with our bags after a 8 hour road trip. The AC thing has been mentioned numerous times by people and apparently still aint fixed. A Motel 6 would be a better choice than this trash dump.

We stayed for the LSU vs FSU labor day weekend game 2022. Cynthia and every hotel employee was so lovely and made our stay so nice. The room was very comfortable and clean. I had noted it was my husband's 50th birthday celebration when I made the reservation and we had a bottle of wine and a signed birthday card waiting for him in the room when we checked in which was a nice surprise. The hotel was in a great location, very central to both the French Quarter and the Warehouse District and felt very safe as well. If you are considering the Sundeck rooms, note, the 4th floor Sundeck rooms facing the river do not have a view. It was nice to have an outside seating area but I don't think it's worth the extra money, plus that side of the building was near the train tracks and we were woken up in the middle of the night by the train horns every night of our stay. Our friends had an in interior room and they didn't hear a thing. Overall I still give the hotel a 5 star. It was lovely and I'd stay here again.

We stayed almost a week. I paid for a room with a street view. Glad I did as many of the rooms are inside the property with windows overlooking a hallway. Below was originally a restaurant but this is closed and empty - it looks like building work was coming to an end here. The room is 'standard' no-frills. The laundry room was handy. We were disappointed by the lack of food options - they had a small coffee counter serving a very limited range of items at incredibly high prices. The staff were pretty poor -no one really seemed to care much about the customer, unusual for a Marriott. They spend most of their times on their phones. One member of staff walked around bare footed, it took 3 days for a blown bulb to be replaced (we gave up asking, and eventually found the maintenance man) He was the only person who actually seemed interested and cared about customers. Lastly, it was a good quiet location - but you have to ignore the state of the pavement while the place next door is being refurbished as it is messy and a dmumping ground for rubble.

He gave me so much information about the hotel and the area. The concierge was very friendly and helped me orient to the area. You need only to cross the street to start walking into the French Quarter making this an excellent location. You can also walk 2 blocks to get to the trolley to the Garden District. Excellent customer service provided by Sharnell Johnson - Front Desk Agent! She was extremely helpful to my husband and me. Although we are not new to New Orleans regarding visiting, but this was our first experience at the Blake Hotel. She helped us by providing excellent directions to each place we wanted to go. She also calmed my fear of elevators by giving great details on when the elevator was last serviced and the amount of usage on a daily basis. She also gave her personal experience of the elevator and made me feel comfortable enough to ride it alone. She greeted us each day that we were here with a smile and a warm greeting. We will definitely stay again at this hotel and we pray that Ms. Johnson will still be working at the hotel. The Blake Hotel needs to employ more Front Desk Agents with the same personality and knowledge that Ms. Johnson has. It would aid in the continued success of The Blake Hotel for Ms. Johnson to serve in management on how to treat guests. She is truly great and awesome! We will definitely be back!

The best thing we did was see Kermit Ruffins at the blue nile, amazing showman and talented trumpet player. Katy handled scheduling and buying tickets for everything, which made our stay so much more enjoyable. The hotel was a great location. Gym needs to be upgraded. The location is a little far from the tourist area. If the leg strength is good, there is no problem. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the Mississippi River. Large room, equipment can be simple, no extra things. This time, the arrangement is on the high floor. The view is good, but the city view of New Orleans is nothing special. It seems to be a business district around. There are not many people at night. It’s special. I heard other guests at check-in mentioning that there was a shot somewhere last night. Maybe it’s one of the New Orleans features. There are not enough gym equipment, a little bit of a shortage In short, it is a pleasant stay.

Visiting from Texas for a brief weekend trip, we wanted somewhere near the action of New Orleans, and Le Pavillon checks that box. It offers very luxurious and beautiful lodging for a fair price. Unfortunately we didn't see any of the famous ghostly visitors, but that's okay, maybe next time. The room was a bit smaller than expected, but that's not really an issue for me as I wasn't spending so much time in the room. I didn't interact with any staff aside from checking in and out so I can't remark much on that. I was a bit disappointed that the rooftop and pool was closed, that may have affected whether or not I would have booked there. I enjoy a nice rooftop view and conversation, especially in cities like New Orleans. There is some kind of $10 historic fee I have to pay at check out, that I didn't understand and annoyed me slightly, so anticipate to pay that, as well as $40 - $50 for parking. Overall all it was a nice stay and I would do it again in the future.

Where to start... the hotel is beautiful, and the decor is thoughtful. All the latest technology, but still charming and warm details. We stayed on site for an event and never stepped foot outside the hotel until valet brought us the car the next day. Every employee we encountered clearly loves working here and with one another. This was an expensive room - but no more than the RItz or the Roosevelt where the service can be very ”cool” or stuffy. Special thanks to Damien, the sharply dressed Valet attendant. He is so stylish, we had to make sure we were handing the keys to an employee!! Excellent brunch the next morning. Pool deck was lovely and the hostess waited on us personally.

Hotel de la Monnaie

The location is superb. It was clean. It was not pristine because it’s old. The staff were really helpful and courteous. There is a fridge, two stove eyes, a coffee machine, an archaic microwave. The beds were comfy. The air was great. The wading fountain pool made our kids really excited. It’s open 24/7, but it was cold. The public balcony was a nice place to sit. I actually chose this place because the parking is free but it’s first come first serve so I was a bit nervous, but we had no problem parking. I asked about crime and was told “there is none.” That really seemed to be true. There are people who start conversations then ask for money. Oh...the water. So our room slept 6. (It has three full beds.) There was a sign that said the water heater is 30 gallons and to account for that. It is HOT hot. It’s be-careful-hot. So nobody emptied it. We had plenty. We would stay here again.

We stayed here for five nights last week. We were treated like family by Corey, Eric, and Ronald. The staff was attentive and helpful. Corey took care of us from check-in to check-out. He arranged a great tour, gave advice on parking, recommended restaurants, etc.. The hotel is perfectly located and has a beautiful view of the river. We walked everywhere in the French Quarter. The courtyard in the center of the hotel is quaint and quiet and we made it our meeting place every day. We will definitely stay here next time. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Stayed at the Moxy for a few nights when attending a conference in NOLA. The hotel was fine - rooms are small but functional and there’s a 24 hour gym onsite. I had to move rooms on my first night as the noise coming from the air con was horrendous - it sounded like a plane was taking off in the room. The team at Reception moved me without quibbling however never asked why I wanted to move or apologised for the disruption, in fact they barely spoke. Unfortunately the second room was also very noisy however I stayed put as it was better than the first.

Loews New Orleans Hotel

Firstly the best thing about this hotel is the people - from the minute we arrived, they were welcoming and friendly. The concierge was so helpful in booking trips for us along with other staff who suggested restaurants, directions etc. We chose breakfast in the hotel on one day which was OK and so decided to have breakfast another day as we were leaving on a trip and it seemed the obvious option; turns out they don't do breakfasts everyday which was not well advertised - and a little strange!! Anyway one of the cleaners clearly saw our confusion so suggested ”Mothers” diner across the road which was brilliant actually - the best pancakes we had in our entire trip in the States. Likewise the bar tender at the bar/restaurant is excellent. The only downside was that the hotel itself is a little tired and could do with some refurbishment and updating. Our room was lovely in terms of size and the bed was really comfy but some of the furniture was a little tarnished, the carpet somewhat dirty and the walls could do with a paint. But other than that, a good stay.

We fell in love with this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and the hotel was clean. Our room was amazing and huge with a sitting area that had a couch, chair, desk, mini bar with a sink and a TV. We had a separate bedroom with a super comfortable king size bed and plenty of luggage storage space. The bathroom was crazy huge and spotless. They have an interactive system for requesting lines or basically any need you may have. They also have a complementary breakfast, like a real breakfast, with scrambled eggs, sausage links and breakfast potatoes that was all delicious. They had a nice selection of bagels, breads and muffins as well. This is a great, funky, cool hotel and we highly recommend it.
