I was put in room 325. The A/C was very noisy, so much so that I would not be able to get any peace or rest. I asked for a different room and a man named "Oscar" who kept calling me "mama" continued to tell me "I don't know what to tell you, you can go across the street to The Comfort Inn." He said "we are booked" and we only have one other room available. It was on the 1st Floor, much smaller and also had a noisy A/C just not as loud. I wasted 2 hours dealing with room changes, *******, etc. to receive a whopping 15% discount off my bill. I was very disappointed by the staff here, you would think for a nicer historic hotel, customer service would be high. There was no Kleenex in my bathroom (empty carton) and I still did not get a good night sleep because of the noisy air conditioner. I was told no one was on duty for maintenance so it could not be fixed. Either deal with it or get a refund and go somewhere else. Overall, that experience deterred from anything positive. Oscar was very rude and the lady behind the counter also gave me a hard time about my service dog. I will not be staying there again.
