Pause Landis Resort

This stay in the Stream View Room was fantastic! The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, and the in-room hot spring bath was spacious with great views outside. They even provided instant noodles, snacks, and drinks, so no worries about getting hungry in the middle of the night. The staff were all very friendly and kind, and the environment was clean, elegant, and quiet. I especially loved the lobby's decor. The public hot spring, spa pool, sauna, and steam room were all free to use twice, and the changing rooms were very clean and comfortable. For breakfast, you can choose between Chinese and Western options. We tried one of each this time; the Chinese breakfast was very substantial, and the gua bao and pork thick soup were delicious. With a 12 PM checkout, we had plenty of time to enjoy breakfast and pack our luggage leisurely, which was very thoughtful. Oh, and they even offered a complimentary afternoon tea during check-in, which was a lovely touch!

I booked a standard room this time, and I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it felt, as I initially expected it to be quite small. However, the bathroom amenities and hairdryer were different from those in other room types. Personally, I prefer a powerful hairdryer, like a Dyson, so that was a minor drawback. The bed was very comfortable, though the pillows were a bit too soft for my liking. Breakfast was just average.

I went there to relax during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. It's a fantastic hot spring resort with a very comfortable and clean environment. Both breakfast and snacks were prepared with great care. The resort is conveniently located near the bus stop, just two stops from the old street. It's also easy and quick to get back to Xindian MRT Station or Taipei, with frequent bus services. I'll definitely go back for another vacation. Thumbs up! 😍👍👍👍

Had a fantastic stay! 🤩 I'd definitely choose this place again next time. The environment is serene, and it's super close to the bus stop – less than a minute's walk after getting off. The front desk staff were friendly and courteous. On a rainy day, when we were heading for breakfast, they even proactively checked to see if they had enough umbrellas for us to borrow. The hot spring bath in the room is very spacious, and bathrobes are provided. They also included snacks, sodas, an apple, coffee capsules, and instant noodles! 🥰 Regarding breakfast, other reviews were a bit vague, but it's actually a semi-buffet style. When checking in, you need to choose your dining time slot and whether you want a Chinese or Western main course. The semi-buffet items include fruits, congee, coffee, juice, milk, and salad greens, among others. If you're looking for breakfast reviews, I hope this helps! 👍🏻

This place is great for relaxing! I really liked it overall. It's perfect for coming with friends or family. The breakfast was also quite good, and it's a buffet. I'll definitely find time to bring my elders next time!

The accommodation is good, clean, and the service is great. It's also not too far to travel to. There are minor drawbacks, such as the shower water not getting warm at all, though the bathwater was warm. No matter how I adjusted the shower, it just wouldn't get warm; turning the knob both ways only made it slightly lukewarm. This would be a bigger problem in winter, but since I visited in summer, it wasn't a huge issue. Most of the hotel food was delicious, with only a few dishes I didn't enjoy. Overall, if I return to Wulai, I'd probably stay here again.

The hygiene and space are good, but the breakfast options are a bit limited.

Arrived at the hotel in the evening, and it's absolutely beautiful, but there are too few staff members. I had to carry my own luggage and fetch anything I needed from the front desk myself. It's a shame such a nice hotel is so understaffed. On the bright side, the hot spring baths are spacious, the view outside the window is stunning, and the hotel breakfast is fantastic.
