Reviews of Inn at the Quay

This used to be a high end hotel but not anymore.  You still pay the large price but don’t expect anything not even a bottle of water in your room. Location is not very convenient especially if you get caught by a passing train.

We chose this hotel due to the high star rating and it being advertised as the 9th nicest hotel in BC. I chose this hotel over others for a more luxury experience, and was left disappointed. The room wasn't nearly as nice as the photos make it look, being very dull, lacking basically necessities such as a microwave, cutlery of any kind, bathroom fan, and sufficient amount of towels, plus the carpet was soaked the entire stay from a clear leak from the balcony, going through all our clean socks before the end of our stay. I paid for a Queen room and requested a room with a nice view on a high floor, but the bed seemed to be pretty tiny, closer to a twin size, and we were put on the 3rd floor. There's no complimentary breakfast despite the arm and leg you're paying for the room, and parking is extra. The hot tub and fitness room are extremely mid. No part of this hotel felt "luxury" or met any standards and is very overpriced. I paid less at the Executive Plaza and had a nicer room, amazing view as per request, with all amenities. Very disappointed and won't be going back.

Everything in the hotel was good, but if the staff can be more friendly, that would be perfect.

Very nice hotel with good location..and view of the Fraser River...kind welcome from the receptionnist with a gift by check in...bottle of water ,& chocolate. Enjoy your stay & chlill and discover this beauty hotel

The room was very nice, the environment was beautiful, and it was very convenient with a supermarket and subway nearby. There were also many places to eat, and the hygiene was good. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come again next time.
