Hilton Garden Inn New York - Times Square Central

Great location, super convenient for getting around. Right downstairs you have subway lines Q, 1, 2, and 3, which is perfect for Times Square. The bathroom felt a bit dated with an old-style bathtub. A heads-up though: it's a popular spot, so don't be surprised if your room isn't ready until late in the afternoon, like 5 or 6 PM. On the plus side, having a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room was really handy.

Let me share a lucky experience from yesterday. We unexpectedly had to stay in Manhattan, so my husband started looking for hotels. He found one for $99, but with all the extra fees, it came out to over $170. He kept searching and stumbled upon a Hilton for just $199, which we immediately booked. After booking, I realized it was super close to Times Square, practically right downstairs! There were H&M, AMC, various chain restaurants, and a movie theater nearby – a really lively and central location. We arrived quite late and checked in. After checking in, we went to grab some dinner. Once we finished eating, we headed back to settle into our room. After getting our key, we went up to the 33rd floor, room number 3315. When we got to the 33rd floor and tried to open room 3315, we found the door was latched from the inside with the security lock, so we could only push it open a tiny crack.

The room offered a view of Times Square. The service was excellent, and everything was clean.
