I lived in Greenpoint Brooklyn for years so when I went back for a visit this was the perfect hotel to stay in. Truly the best value in the Williamsburg/Greenpoint area. I was shocked at the gorgeous decor, styling and amount of space I had in my room for the price. Absolutely a hidden gem. Highly recommend.

First off, I loved the price for what you get - beautifully decorated, large room. The common areas were inviting and beautiful, a place to really relax and meet people.
Could be improved - I didn't find rooms with a king size bed, perhaps my search could have been better. Also, I think the hotel should be soundproofed better, I heard conversations in the next room and people walking in the room above woke me up in the night.
However, I look forward to going back again and again. Our experience was wonderful.

It's a cool hotel. The room was spacious, with tall ceilings, and had hardwood floors. Bed was reasonably comfortable, and all the appliances worked as they were supposed to. The downside is it is sort of remote and the closest garage is a mile away (or $11 Uber ride). There is on street parking but that wasn't a risk I was willing to take. The neighborhood is both scary desolate (to the left) and also comfortably gentrified (to the right). There are lots of shops and restaurants close by that look like they could be worth exploring.

Quaint and well-kept property with comfortable rooms that are quite spacious for NYC. Easy walk to the Greenpoint neighborhood which is clean and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

I would have given this hotel 5 stars, but the water pressure in the shower was basically non-existent and the water was extremely hot or the exact opposite, very cold. Also, the hotel is located across from a truck yard and seems to have very thin walls, so if you are a light sleeper beware! You can hear the people upstairs from you loud and clear, and also the trucks outside are very loud. Other than these few things, we had a great stay at this hotel. It was very clean, our room was lovely, and the staff were great!

Awesome property, but def pretty out of the way from the main happenings in BK! Perf if you’ve got friends/fam in greenpoint. Walls are a bit thin in this old hotel so bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper

Whenever I come to visit I stay at the Henry Norman! I’ve stayed there a few times now and they never disappoint. The staff is professional and welcoming and there is not a bad room in the place! The hotel is beautiful and clean. I wish the surrounding area had better parking options for the hotel though. That’s the only thing I’d say but it is Brooklyn.
