The hotel is neat and clean. The atmosphere of the environment is nice. I would have visited so many places but it's so cold. it has free breakfast but no gym room. You can still take a stroll down the street if you want to exercise. I will stay here again if I visit NYC. There's no parking lot if you rent a car. It has street parking lot.

This hotel is really terrible. The location is great, but it is rundown, has a single elevator that is slow and old and a single staircase. Could well be dangerous. They didn’t have enough keys to give us each one and there was no room for anything except the bed in the room. Not a chair. Not a desk. Nothing. The windows were filthy. The carpets in the hall were terribly stained and disgusting. The pictures on the website are not accurate. We never would have booked if they had been representative of the hotel in its current state.

The staff provided outstanding service, always going the extra mile to ensure my needs were met. The location is relatively convenient, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they are well-appointed and cozy, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring

We get there at 10:00am - We knew we couldnt check in but asked anyway. Lady on Thurs 9/28 told me we couldnt yet and gave us bag tags to hold our bags for us. Very nice and pleasant. We then return to the hotel at 9pm to finally check in. We had a great day seeing the city. We are then told that the room I booked was over sold and they can not provide me with a King that I purchased but a double. This was the manager - She discounted the bill and $54 and told me they would make sure we were accommodated tomorrow. The room we were put it was the size of a walk in closet with a bed with a window unit that water dropped on all night making a loud noise with every drop. It also had a broken shelf above the sink so you literally had no where to put anything. It was horrible and honestly a $54 discount was not nearly enough. Friday at 9am we come down turn in the room keys and explain to yet a third person....she understands and says I see notes here and we have a king room for you. I asked if we could go ahead and get the room number but she said no not yet we have to wait for the people to check out. We check our bags with tags and leave them at the desk again. We then spend another wonderful day exploring the city. We return around 9pm again and another person is working and has absolutely no idea of anything that was supposed to be done for us. I asked for any other room then the one we were in first and they had a queen room available. I took it after being so tired. The lady gave me the managers email and said he would speak to her for us. I will be reaching out but now that we checked out sat morning I dont believe we will be compensated for this terrible lack of communication. We never even got to unpack our bags.

The hotel is located on a beautiful street, very close to Central Park. But the room is too small and the facilities are too old, and the walkway feels a bit dirty. Fortunately, the bedding in the room is clean.

The window is the patio of the building. The room is very small and dark, but the hygiene is OK. The breakfast is quite satisfactory. It is a miniature version of a traditional American express hotel. It has a good location next to Central Park, so it is acceptable for the price.

The complaints of netizens are consistent with the reality: 1. Noise (sound of the door opening next door), street-facing room (police cars and ambulances at midnight every day). 2. Small room (a suitcase can barely be opened at the entrance). 3. No laundry room. 4. The breakfast is the same, only chicken sausage/bacon/chicken patties are changed every day. 5. The room rate on Fridays and Saturdays is several times higher than on weekdays. 6. Check-in time is 3 pm, don't fantasize about checking in early. Why choose this hotel? Because there are not many choices, because of the location advantage, close to New York Central Park. I walked through Central Park for many days to see art museums (for example: the Metropolitan Museum). The hotel is old and the rooms are small. Don't expect too much from the hotel itself. The advantage is that it is very close to Central Park and the met, so you can walk around.

The room we stayed in for the first two days was small, on a low floor, and had only one window facing the patio, so the room was not well lit. The order was changed to the 12th floor for the next seven days. The room was also larger and had windows on both walls. After opening the curtains, we could directly see the street view of W 71st Street and the view of Midtown, which felt good. The loud sound of the air conditioner was the only unacceptable problem, but this is a problem that many two- and three-star hotels in New York have, so we can only tolerate it. The quality of service varies from person to person. Some front desk staff are friendly and some have average service attitudes. There is not someone to clean every day. I cleaned it myself in the first few days. Later, I found that the sink was blocked. I called the front desk and someone was sent to fix it. In the following days, someone came to clean it continuously, so it is also important to make requests. Most of the service staff are of South American descent and speak Spanish. They may not be good at English, so communication is a bit difficult. The hotel is in a prime location, close to Central Park and the 72nd Street subway station, with convenient transportation. It is a quiet place in the bustling Upper West Side of Manhattan. It is highly recommended in terms of cost performance. The room is small, but it has all the facilities, clean and sanitary, and the bedding is comfortable! It is next to Central Park, just 100 meters away, very convenient!

The room in this hotel is too small and depressing. The window air conditioner is running 24 hours a day and is very noisy. The window in the room cannot be opened. I stayed for 2 consecutive days and the room was not cleaned on the second day.
