Convenient enough, the hotel shuttle runs to the airport every hour. The room was okay, and breakfast was standard, as you can see from the pictures.

The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk service was enthusiastic. The only downside is that the room prices fluctuate too much.

Aside from the formaldehyde smell, indicating it's new, everything else was terrible. The hotel gave us a semi-basement room, and spending over 2000 for a night's sleep felt like a complete rip-off. It's nowhere near as good as the airport Marriott.

I read the reviews before choosing this hotel and was actually surprised that it had such good reviews even though the room size is relatively small. Now I understand why. The room is clean, everything looks new, and the hotel is very well maintained, so the overall feeling is comfortable and pleasant despite the smaller size. I also like that they have rooms with bathtubs. Breakfast is good enough, with scrambled eggs, yummy sausages, and oatmeal. The downside is that the shuttle runs only until midnight, and the in-room amenities are quite limited. I would choose Fairfield again if I need to stop by JFK.

The service was warm and flexible, and the breakfast was abundant with a great variety of options. The hygiene was also very well maintained. They offer complimentary airport transfers, and the driver was excellent, even arranging pickups late at night.

I had a brief overnight stay near JFK, and to my surprise, the front desk charged an excessive deposit. For the two rooms, one was charged $280.77 and the other $250. When checking out, negotiations were unsuccessful, and I still didn't understand why an additional $30.77 was charged. Thankfully, Trip.com customer service stepped in and got it refunded, explaining it was a duplicate tax charge. The rooms themselves were pretty standard, very typical American hotel fare – nothing exceptional, but nothing terrible either. The shuttle to the airport was quite convenient, but getting a shuttle *from* the airport to the hotel was difficult to arrange.

1. As an airport hotel, it's incredibly quiet. There's absolutely no airplane noise, probably because they use two windows for sound isolation, each with double-paned glass. 2. I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and the housekeepers changed the towels and teacups daily. 3. I encountered two shuttle drivers, both of whom were very friendly. They departed on time and picked up guests from the airport punctually, even dropping them off directly at their required terminal. 4. On checkout day, still wary from a previous bad experience with an Newark airport hotel shuttle, I booked my shuttle and arrived early at the entrance. Unfortunately, there were too many people and too much luggage heading to the airport. The driver proactively arranged for an additional vehicle to take us.

The location is fantastic, less than three miles from Kennedy Airport, making it incredibly convenient. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful, answering all our questions. The rooms were clean, tidy, and odor-free, and the environment was quiet and comfortable, with no noise whatsoever.

The hotel feels a bit dated. Its main selling point is its proximity to JFK Airport, making it incredibly convenient for catching a flight, especially with their shuttle service. Hotels in New York are notoriously expensive.
