Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel

The hotel room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It's really close to Times Square and the subway station. The front desk staff were super friendly and even gave us free tickets!

The biggest advantage of this Sheraton is its location; you can walk to most attractions in Midtown Manhattan. The rooms are just so-so, and parking is extremely expensive. They even charge for luggage storage. The meal vouchers were a pleasant surprise though.

The price was quite a good deal for New York, especially with a discount. The facilities and decor are up to Hilton's standards, but!! It was incredibly, unbelievably crowded. Expect to wait about an hour just to park, with only one staff member working. Checking in at the front desk, buying coffee, and even storing luggage all involved long queues. It seems like a lot of airline crew stay here too, so definitely factor in extra time for everything. There are tons of hidden fees. The deposit was given as a voucher, luggage storage cost extra, and even the in-room mini-bar items were charged. Given the location and the total price of $150, I guess I'll just put up with it.

The hotel's location is excellent, right around the corner from the subway station. It's also very convenient to walk to Broadway. Despite being in a busy area, the room was surprisingly quiet. The hotel's elevator system is a bit unique; you need to enter your floor on a central control panel first. Once you get used to it, it's fine. Overall, highly recommend!
