The location is more than excellent
The room space and cleanliness were not up to my expectations, also I asked them to fill the hand cream in the bathroom and they did not do it even though they said it would be done

The location was excellent. We were near the Times Square, Rockefeller Center, supermarket, food trucks, one-dollar pizza place, restaurants, bakeries, and few blocks from Central Park. There were also nearby subway stations so commute was no problem. We had 2 free bottled water on arrival and if you need more, it costs $3 each. How I wish they would refill the coffee and tea pods though when used though. I liked how they have 24hr open shop in the lobby where you can checkout the items yourself but most didn’t have prices or couldn’t be looked on the computer we didn’t bother. The room was clean but the cabinet needs fixing. We had one with broken cabinet door. Small appliances include coffee pod machine, microwave, and hair dryer. View was good, we were on the 30th floor and I enjoyed looking outside the window. What I liked best was the breakfast. Overall, I’m still happy to stay here on my next NY trip 😊

The hotel is in a good location. The room is small, but the price is very small in New York. The most annoying thing is waiting for the elevator. There are 34 floors in total, and only one elevator is in use, and the elevator is small. (The other two elevators can only go to fixed floors. I didn't see any guests using them during my two-day stay)

### Marriott beats Hilton!
I can't believe that Marriott and Hilton are only 165 feet (about 0.03 miles) apart, but the experience is so different. Marriott provided free bottled water at check-in, while Hilton charged $8 per bottle. Hilton's elevators were all out of service due to the so-called "flood", while Marriott, which is only separated by a wall, was running normally and in an orderly manner. From the moment I stepped into the door, Marriott's smiling service made people feel warm. When the staff asked if I needed help with my luggage, I hesitated for a moment - because my luggage had been delayed in Hilton due to elevator failure. Last time I attended a meeting, I had a tight schedule and had to choose Hilton with a great location. As a result, I spent 17 minutes waiting for the elevator! For business travelers, don't choose Hilton. Whether in Hunan, China or Manhattan, New York, my stay experience was extremely disappointing. The room soundproofing was very poor, and it was almost impossible to sleep! To be honest, if Marriott can completely crush Hilton in such a first-tier city and developed country, it already says it all. Not to mention the refund issue - Hilton's three-night room rate is as high as five figures, and I booked a room with a balcony. As a result, because of their so-called "flood", I still haven't refunded it! If I hadn't walked into Marriott with my luggage today, I couldn't believe what I experienced at Hilton.
### Marriott Completely Wins Over Hilton!
I can't believe the stark contrast between Marriott and the Hilton just 165 feet (0.03 miles) away. At check-in, Marriott provided complimentary bottled water, while Hilton charged $8 USD per bottle. The elevators at Hilton were out of service due to alleged "flooding," yet somehow, despite being just one wall apart, everything at Marriott was running perfectly. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles. When asked if I needed assistance with my luggage, I hesitated for a moment—because at Hilton, my luggage was stuck downstairs for ages due to the elevator delays. Last time I stayed at Hilton for a conference, I had an urgent schedule, yet I waited 17 minutes just for an elevator. Especially for business travelers, never choose Hilton. My experience has been consistently disappointing—whether in Hunan, China, or Manhattan, New York. The soundproofing is terrible! Honestly, if a Marriott can outshine Hilton in a first-tier city of a first-world country, that speaks volumes. And let's talk about refunds—three nights at Hilton cost me five figures, and I booked a room with a balcony. Yet, due to their so-called "flooding," I still haven't received my refund. If I hadn't personally walked into Marriott today, I wouldn't have believed the difference between these two hotels.

If you don't call the front desk, you have to wait about 10 minutes for the elevator. Also, the shower was lukewarm. The location is great.

The hotel is very well located and the room is beautiful. The views were amazing. The only downside is that they clean every couple of days and, in my 5 days, it turns out that they came to my room on the fourth day in the afternoon and that was it. The breakfast is not worth it, SUPER BAD and VERY EXPENSIVE for what it is. The elevators take a long time, but something cool is that they have ice machines on some floors and they have a laundry room (for a fee) so you can put your washing machine in. The staff is good, normal, except for one girl who was incredibly kind.

South of Central Park, but still a little far. Next to Seventh Avenue, very convenient for subway travel. The most prosperous area, there are many guests staying, and the price is not low. The breakfast room on the first floor is stylish. Although it is a free breakfast in the hotel, the waiter needs to be tipped.

The room has two 1.5-meter beds, which is just right for a family of three. There is no service, and no one helped to carry several large suitcases, so I had to rely on myself. The next day, I even forgot to clean the room. I can only say that it is very convenient to live here, whether in the upper city or the lower city. It takes more than 10 minutes by car and 30 minutes to walk to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The hotel is between Central Park and Times Square, close to Central Park
It takes about 1 hour by taxi from the airport to the hotel
There are AMRO, SHACK SHAKE, LA BAIA and Chinese restaurants nearby
Hotel room is relatively small
