The hotel's hygiene was terrible! The duvet cover had stains, and it was clear they were reusing unwashed duvet covers for guests. They didn't even meet basic hygiene standards. When I tried to communicate with the hotel, they were dismissive and didn't even apologize. I contacted Trip.com, and they said the hotel was a partner and there was nothing they could do! See photos for the stained duvet cover! I stayed in Citizenm New York Times Square on September 3, 2026. On the morning of September 4, I discovered noticeable stains on the duvet cover, which clearly indicated that the linens had not been laundered after the previous guest. For a hotel, basic hygiene is a fundamental obligation. Failing to provide clean bedding is not only a major service failure but also a significant health concern. I am deeply disappointed and cannot recommend this hotel due to their unacceptable hygiene standards. I have attached the photos as evidence of the condition of the bedding.

All the electronics in the room can be controlled via the iPad. The bathroom lights can change colors, which is cool, but it's a shame the TV only supports Chromecast, so many apps can't be cast. The service attitude is typical American service. The location is excellent, right near Times Square, and the hotel is directly opposite the Wicked theater. The breakfast selection is quite ordinary, just sausages, bacon, and different types of bread.

The location is great, and surprisingly, the soundproofing is excellent – not noisy at all. The room was much smaller than I expected. You can ask the front desk for any disposable toiletries not found in the room. The hygiene was decent. The only downside was that the elevators took a bit long, and the service was just average.

This hotel is super convenient, located close to Times Square and the nearest station, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Plus, the Gershwin Theatre is just about a minute's walk away, making it a dream spot for Broadway lovers!

Super convenient location near Times Square. Bit small but as expected for most hotels in midtown Manhattan. Room is clean, modern and equipped with smart TV / curtains. Great service which made our stay in NYC a memorable one!

The hotel's location is super convenient, and the breakfast is pretty good too. Even though the room is a bit small, it's very functional. The lobby on the first floor is really cozy, and you can even get some work done on the second floor!

The location is definitely the biggest advantage; don't expect too much else. The room is indeed very small, so those who mind should choose carefully.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of the city at the intersection of 50th Street and 7th Avenue. It's a 3-5 minute walk to the 1, C, and E subway lines, and the area feels safe and lively. Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and 5th Avenue are all within a 10-15 minute walk. The service is great, highly recommend!

As with hotels near Times Square, rooms are small but competitive and well-appointed. Always love a CitizenM experience and what more in the big 🍎

The room size is indeed a bit small, but it's very clean and quiet. It's still good value for money, especially given the excellent location. It's also quite new, exceeding my expectations a bit.

This hotel reminds me a lot of Tune hotels in Malaysia. Very basic facilities in a very small room. Many functions are controlled by an iPad, but you can use switches on the wall to do the same if you’re old school. My automatic curtain wasn’t working so my city view was obscured. The hotel is “hip” - you check yourself in using a machine and once you’re settled, you can return to the lobby for some human contact at the bar. The tariff was horrendous but the location was great and the bed was clean and comfortable.
