437 Union Ave Brooklyn, NY 11211 United States Is a disgusting shelter placement . I came here as a new intaker 10/25/2025 . I came here at 11:49 pm didn’t get to my room until 12:50 1:00 am . When I got in the room I only had sheets pillow cases. No rag no towel for me or my son . There’s no refrigerator in the room tv doesn’t work the bathroom wasn’t clean when I got here toilet seat dirty had someone left over pee stains floor was dirty and sticky. I had ask one of the workers where am I supposed to put my stuff that’s supposed to be cold they told me that’s not their problem I can’t use they refrigerator only milk goes in there . Last night there was a guy working in the kitchen he told me I can put my food in there I woke up on this day 10/26/2025 there was a different worker in the kitchen I ask her could I get my food I put in there from last night she told me I wasn’t allowed to put anything in they fridge . Somebody ended up throwing out my food . I had to move from the house I was staying at for reason being that I couldn't cook . Then I saw about a couple of roaches in my room and in the kitchen where they serve food . The hallways are nasty looks like the maintenance doesn’t mop at all . Something needs to be done about this shelter site .
