Hudson River Hotel

This hotel was not clean. Our room had water damage and mould in it. Would not recommend. The front desk staff was super nice though.

Everything is fine. Wifi is so slow. The bathroom is very clean and the most I like is location. It is very near the center.

This is an okay hotel. Kinda booked it last minute so I didnt have much choice. Pros: Near Penn station, which is very convenient (＜10 minute walk). Price is not that expensive, tho could be lower based on how the property looks. Decent enough to sleep in. A/C is nice to have. Staff are nice as well. Cons: Rooms are definitely not soundproofed, and since there’s a gap underneath the main door, you’ll hear people come back at 3am being very loud. Old hotel and conditions leave much to be desired. Property definitely needs updating. Toilet needs to be flushed in a specific method, else it wont flush properly. You need to pay if you want to leave your bags AFTER checkout (other hotels dont charge you for this), and they dont have a designated place for this (they put it just in the lobby, in front of the desk). I would probably book another hotel in my next stay; but if this is the only one within the budget (in case i need to book last minute again), I’m not opposed to booking this place again.
