Located in a quiet alley in the heart of the ancient city, it's a 10-minute walk from the bustling South Street. 💁♂️Service: Attentive, caring, and proactive 24-hour butler service. 1) Arrival: Immediately contacted via WeChat upon booking. Upon arrival, a sightseeing shuttle was picked up from the Guanbei parking lot outside the city, and the staff warmly greeted me. 2) Tours: Proactive suggestions and maps were provided during outings. The alley is right by the Lower West Gate of Pingyao Ancient City, a 5-minute walk from the Cinema Palace. You can even come back for a change of clothes and some things at noon, making it perfect for a stay during a film festival. It's clear the owner is serious about running a B&B. The quilt and pillows are incredibly comfortable, and the memory foam pillow was even better than expected. I didn't even need my own pillow for the next few days. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, even offering shuttles around the city when he's free. He's like a neighbor. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner's wife and children, who were also incredibly welcoming. I learned this place was once his family home, which is why it felt so comfortable and homey. "The owner arranged a pick-up at the station and upgraded our room. The first-floor room was very comfortable, with a view of the courtyard from the curtains. There were three jujube trees in the courtyard, laden with dates, creating a festive atmosphere. The owner washed some dates for us to eat, and we even picked some ourselves, which was a wonderful experience. "This charming inn truly lives up to its name. First off, the location is absolutely delightful. You walk down a long alleyway, and at its end, you find this stylish archway entrance. Inside, past the small front desk, there's a lovely little courtyard with some greenery, and surprisingly, even roses in bloom! There's also an antique table with a large 'yuanbao' (a traditional Chinese gold ingot). The room itself is simply furnished and clean, the bed is very comfortable, and the bedding is especially spotless. The shower facilities and air conditioning are all brand new. But the key highlight is how wonderful the owner is! Before we even checked in, they thoughtfully told us where to park and even sent someone to pick us up. Cars aren't allowed inside the ancient town, but their arrangements were excellent, and we didn't feel inconvenienced at all. I honestly think the Wutaishan Yinlong Hotel could learn a thing or two from them. The young man who picked us up was also fantastic, making us genuinely feel at home. I highly recommend this hotel.
