The a&o London Docklands Riverside combines historic charm with modern comfort and is a unique retreat in the heart of the British metropolis. The hotel is located directly on the south bank of the Thames – with a magnificent view of Canary Wharf – and offers its guests stylish accommodation in a quiet, green location, just a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the City of London. Located directly on the River Thames, a&o London Docklands Riverside offers a unique setting in a stylishly restored former harbour warehouse. It enjoys a quiet location in the leafy district of Rotherhithe and features its own boat pier with a complimentary shuttle service to Canary Wharf. The hotel offers spacious rooms, many of which include river views or private balconies. Guests can enjoy a 24-hour hotel bar serving drinks and snacks, as well as a round-the-clock reception and several conference rooms for business needs. The hotel is well connected to the city centre, major airports, the O₂ Arena, and other key destinations. A variety of room categories are available, catering to solo travellers, couples, families, and business guests alike.

"My stay here was exactly what I expected for a budget hostel near Canada Water. Don't come expecting luxury service or fancy amenities—it’s very bare bones in that regard. However, the room, while basic, was clean and comfortable enough for a very short stay. The really cool feature is that it’s right on the Thames with direct access to a ferry pier, which is a unique way to travel into the city. If you need a pitstop for a night or two, it does the job, largely thanks to the setting. Also, don't miss The Blacksmith's Arms pub just a stone's throw away. The atmosphere and service were fantastic, and the food was really good."

The property is situated 1.8 km from Royal Albert Hall, 2.5 km from Lord's Cricket Ground and 2.9 km from Regents Park. The property is 200 metres from Paddington Station, and within 2.9 km of the city centre. All guest rooms in the hotel are equipped with a flat-screen TV. Guest rooms include a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. Portobello Road Market is 3 km from The Norfolk Hotel, while Harrods is 3.1 km away. London City Airport is 18 km from the property. Kindly be aware that the hotel does not have a lift.

"The hotel is relatively well located, however the room is in the cellar and comfort is minimal. No bedside lamp, no hairdryer, no kettle, no bottle of water, not much except a bed, a tiny bathroom with a shower (cold water only!), a sink and a toilet. Toilet paper, shower gel, soap and shampoo available. No elevator. Very noisy, we can hear everything that is happening on the floor above and the room shakes as soon as a metro passes below. Ideal for one or two nights but not more."

The gym is equipped with the latest fitness equipment, providing an exclusive wellness experience. The July - London Victoria is ideally located, with theatres, cultural hotspots, and excellent transport connections at your doorstep, making it the perfect place to explore the city like a local.

"The hotel’s biggest advantage is its location—it’s just a 3-4 minute walk from Victoria Station, and only around 10 minutes’ walk to Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. As a newly opened hotel in2025, it features brand-new and stylish decor. The breakfast options are nutritionally adequate. Dishes like omelettes and English breakfast need to be ordered from the menu, while other items are served buffet-style. Facilities include a laundry room, gym, and sauna. The bathroom even has a heated towel rail, which is a nice touch. Staff at the front desk and restaurant are all warm and friendly. The only issue encountered was that one day, the housekeeping staff failed to replenish the facial tissues. After calling the front desk, the tissues still didn’t arrive for a long time. Later, when taking a shower, I noticed the towels were the used, damp ones —they hadn’t been replaced. Hopefully, this was just a one-time oversight by the housekeeping team. The rooms aren’t very spacious, but given the central downtown location, this is to be expected. Therefore, I still recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the city center."

"I honestly couldn’t recommend Moxy London Piccadilly Circus more highly. The location is absolutely unbeatable—perfect for solo travellers, couples on their first trip, or even families visiting London for the first time. Everything feels like it’s within a 10-minute walk, which makes exploring the city incredibly easy and enjoyable. Public transport is right at your doorstep, with train stations literally about 30 seconds away, making it effortless to get anywhere in London and back. There are also plenty of buses nearby, and you can even walk to major attractions like London Eye, Big Ben, and Westminster. The hotel is surrounded by great food spots, pubs, and shops, and it’s right in one of the most lively parts of the city. The level of safety at the hotel is excellent, with staff available 24/7, which gave us real peace of mind throughout our stay. The atmosphere is also a big highlight—the music and bar area create such a fun vibe and can really lift your mood after a long day of exploring. The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and exactly as shown in the photos, with clean and comfortable rooms. What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were all fantastic, and a special thank you to the deputy manager who went above and beyond to look after us and made our stay in London even more memorable. If I return to London, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you, Moxy London Piccadilly Circus, for such an amazing experience. And just to be clear—this isn’t a paid review, I genuinely loved my stay and think others should know how great this hotel is before booking."

With a stay at Haringey Hotel in London (Haringey), you'll be a 1-minute drive from Finsbury Park and 7 minutes from Alexandra Palace. This hotel is 5.1 mi (8.3 km) from The British Museum and 5.3 mi (8.5 km) from St. Paul's Cathedral. This smoke-free hotel was built in 1988. Enjoy a meal at the restaurant or snacks in the hotel's coffee shop/cafe. Mingle with other guests at the complimentary reception, held daily. Wrap up your day with a drink at the bar/lounge. Make yourself at home in one of the 29 guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Bathrooms feature showers, hair dryers, and toothbrushes and toothpaste. Conveniences include complimentary bottled water and fans, and housekeeping is provided daily.

"I was in London for a mix of work and pleasure, and I went for Haringey Hotel due to its more affordable rate than most accomodation in the area. I commend the hospitality and kindness of the staff which was the highlight of my stay. They were lovely and attentive, which gave it a personable feel that you don’t receive with the big franchise hotels. Check-in and check-out was fast, the Wi-Fi information was in the room and the bed was extremely comfortable. I always looked forward to hopping in, which is even better than my own at home. The location is also convenient, only a few steps away from the station and many restaurants and grocery shops to choose from. In terms of improvement, the first noticeable difference was that the photos are misleading. The room did not have the same presentation or cleanliness apparent in the ones listed. It’s similar to seeing food adverts that look jaw dropping, but when you order one in-person you’re disappointed with the reality. There are a number of issues that I acknowledge is out of the hotel’s control. The building and rooms are old, therefore the walls are thin. You can hear mumbling when people speak at regular volume, the doors open and close, and laughing partiers in the middle of the morning. It’s located next to a vehicle repair shop, which can be noisy during the day. As for what could be maintained better is the cleanliness. The mirror had spots and dust that could only have developed over several weeks or months. The kettle was full of water, most likely from the previous check-in, but it had excessive calcium build up. There was no provided instant coffee, only creamer, and the tea were single bags that you’d find in a box which didn’t have their containers. The toilet also has build-up and the shower did not include any shampoo or conditioner, only body wash and hand soap from Aldi. I myself am an Aldi shopper, but as for presentation it does not look the best. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you’re not looking for a luxury stay and are okay with bare essentials, topped with a more personal touch from the delightful staff. They have potential to raise their quality if they address the issues of cleanliness and presentation, to make it feel more like a home away from home rather than a university dorm room."

Getting around the city is effortless with Shepherd’s Bush Station offering easy access to the Central Line and London Overground, and Heathrow Airport easily accessible by car or public transport.

"The room has no other shortcomings except for the small, but this is not a big problem in major international cities around the world. The hotel facilities are new, fully furnished, and the service is very good, but it can be seen that the details of some process services should be strengthened in terms of training. For example, when we store our luggage, an employee at the front desk who may be an internship suggested that we take pictures to keep our luggage tickets. This is very thoughtful, but it is easy to misunderstand the statement (I took the luggage ticket and left why I still take pictures, In fact, it can be said that ”it is recommended to take pictures to keep them in case you can't find the number”). In addition, I am an IHG member. When I checked in, I clearly told me that I could arrange a late check-out until 2 o'clock. As a result, I called at 11 o'clock the next day and told me that I should check Although we had no plans to check out late that day because we wanted to visit London again, this step was still confusing. Overall our stay was very satisfactory, the hotel is in a good location, very close to the Westfield shopping center, the subway central is also very convenient to go directly to Oxford Street, walking to Hyde Park is also very fast, taxi to the airport 50 pounds cheaper and faster than the city center. So I am impeccable about the enthusiasm for facilities, location and services. The service details of the flow also need to be strengthened."
