Additionally, the hotel is within walking distance to several metro stations, making it incredibly easy to get around the city, whether you’re heading to Dotonbori, Umeda, or beyond."

"Have stayed at the main tower and the residence tower. The family room for residence tower is so much better, very spacious and with lots of space to put luggage. There’s a washing machine within the room and toilet and shower are separated, very good design especially when staying in a group for 4. Location wise is good, room is clean too. 7-11 is just right downstairs beside the the residence tower, metro is nearby as well."

"Fully automated check-in with a password provided; luckily, there was no need to contact customer service for anything. There were many guests around, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it had a balcony and a kitchen (which I didn't use). The shower pressure was excellent. It's less than a 5-minute walk to Daikokucho subway station, which is very close. Shin-Imamiya, for JR and Nankai lines, is about 700m away, and the walk doesn't feel long at all. Overall, it's consistent with the description: convenient for travel, reasonably priced, and truly ideal for a short stay in Osaka to shop and eat. For luggage during check-in and check-out, you'll need to find lockers at the station (we stored ours directly at Nishi-Umeda). Also, no housekeeping, so you'll have to tidy up yourself. However, both of these points are acceptable."

"It was within walking distance of Shinsaibashi and there were several subway stations nearby, so it was convenient. Check-in and check-out were automated, and although I didn't see the staff very often, they were very helpful. The room was compact but neat and clean."

"This hotel just opened this year, so everything inside is brand new and modern. It's incredibly close to Honmachi subway station; just take exit 24, cross a small street, and you're right there. Honmachi station offers excellent connectivity to Shinsaibashi, Umeda Station, and even USJ. The front desk staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and they even have facility information available in Chinese. There's a 7-Eleven convenience store right downstairs. While the rooms are typically compact, as is common for hotels in Japan, they are incredibly well-equipped and even feature a small bathtub. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Osaka!"

"It's close to all subway lines at Honmachi Station, so access is excellent. The single room is small, but it wasn't a problem for me if I was staying just one night, didn't have a lot of luggage, and was just sleeping alone. However, it might be a bit cramped for someone with a large suitcase. The bathroom is also small, but I guess that's to be expected considering the size of the room. Given my purpose for staying here, it was excellent value for money and I'm very satisfied."

"Pros: 1. Room and toilet is clean and amenities are provided. Will not provide picture of the rooms as is exactly like in the picture. 2. Soundproof was actually good as there is a small balcony overseeing train station and I like the view of it. 3. Walking distance, approx 10 mins or more depending on your walking speed to Tsutentaku, Shinsekai or Donki. 4. I highly would like to say “Arigato” and praise the host for responding to all my questions before checking in and during my check-in progress (when I encounter issue). They respond to all my queries on time. 5. The train station located nearby has JR, Metro or Nankai lines, which can bring you directly to Minoh-Kayano Station, Tennoji, Namba, Umeda, Osaka or Kansai Airport. A proper planning is require to take your require train. Cons: 1. We have 2 medium and 1 small luggages and barely can open full 2 medium luggage despite having a closet. 1 small luggage can be open fully in the middle between the 2 beds but it will block the walking to the balcony (if require to go there). 2. The kitchen and toilet area, gets quite cold during the night and the heater cannot reach that area. Not sure if the floor has a warmer. 3. Despite there is a train station nearby, still require to walk approx. 8 mins above depending on your walking speed. If you are coming with JR train, there were no lift or escalator at the nearby exit to the stay. We had to carry all the luggages down till the exit. However, if you are taking Nankai lines to the airport, then no issue with the luggage as there are 1 lift operating at the nearby entrance. 4. The road at night gets quite lonely and scary if you are walking alone but I believe is alright in Japan. 5. No eateries/restaurants and convenience mart within the 5 mins walk. Overall, I enjoy my stay here and I always stay at this area during my travel to Osaka due to lesser crowd and convenience to reach airport. One thing to note, do complete all the pre-registration that the host has email you in order for a smooth check-in. Again, I would like to thank the host for the great hospitality and responding to my queries."

"Booking this hotel for our trip was an absolute stroke of luck! Traveling with two children to the Expo, I was initially worried about the chaos and stress of getting around. To my surprise, the hotel has a private pier on its second floor, offering direct boat access to the Expo's West Gate. This convenience completely put my mind at ease about the children getting separated. During our stay, the thoughtful service from the hotel staff truly warmed my heart. In particular, there was a charming young man who spoke fluent Chinese. Not only did he ensure seamless communication, but he also went above and beyond his duties, showing exceptional kindness and responsibility. When he learned I didn't have my Visa card and couldn't buy boat tickets, he immediately offered to pay for them without a second thought. He meticulously confirmed the departure time of the last boat and repeatedly discussed the payment method for the return journey with the boatman, arranging every detail for me. The next day, I overslept and missed our scheduled time. After rushing onto the boat, I suddenly remembered I hadn't confirmed the cash payment for the tickets. To my astonishment, this dedicated staff member actually chased me down to the pier! He personally verified the payment method with the boatman and even specifically warned me that the 10 PM boat was fully booked, recommending I take the 8:30 PM cruise back instead. Encountering such thoughtful assistance in a foreign country truly left me with an indescribable feeling of warmth and gratitude! I sincerely wish this kind staff member all the very best for his bright future, continued success, and that his positive influence continues to grow! This unforgettable stay will undoubtedly become one of the most cherished chapters in my travel memories."

"The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, a balcony, a washing machine, and all facilities are clean and tidy. The rooms are larger than those in typical hotels. The front desk responds quickly to any needs, and the service is excellent. Transportation to Namba, Shinsaibashi, and other areas is also very convenient."

"Eco-Conscious Stay Marred by Inconvenient Access: My stay at the Gran Respire highlighted the trade-offs of its ”limited service” model. The eco-friendly approach is clear, but it means amenities are sparse even daily bottled water is rationed. The most significant drawback is the lack of a proper drop-off. The designated spot is at the Grand Green Osaka South Entrance, a short but awkward walk through an area where you'll constantly hear luggage wheels. Be prepared for frustration with taxis: drivers don't know this unofficial drop-off point and are visibly reluctant to navigate the required turn, making a simple hotel arrival an unexpected ordeal. It's a decent base if you're a light packer and don't mind the hassle, but not suitable for those with heavy luggage or who value convenience."
