New Hotels in Seoul

"🍒 The entrance is a bit hidden down an alley, so it took a moment to find. The slightly run-down entrance did make me a bit worried, but thankfully there's an elevator, so no worries about heavy luggage. 🍓 It turned out to be a pleasant surprise! It's only been open for 3 months, so everything is new. The triple room wasn't too cramped (Seoul rooms are generally small, so this one was quite good). 🍍 Towels and toilet paper are by the door, so you can help yourself to fresh ones. The towels were also very new. The water pressure was good, hot water was stable, and the toilet worked perfectly. 🍉 In winter, they have floor heating, which is lovely and warm. My underwear dried overnight, so you don't need to pack too much. 🥕 There are many restaurants downstairs, so you don't have to go far, plus an OLIVE YOUNG which is super convenient (Tip: For OLIVE YOUNG, try one near a less crowded subway station, like Seonjeongneung Station. It's often cheaper than those in bustling areas, with face masks sometimes half price!) 🌶 From Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station (Line 2), exit 13, walk straight, turn right at OLIVE YOUNG, and it's about 50 meters. Look up to the fourth floor and you'll see the discreet 'HI DONGDAEMUN' sign. 🐰 The 6001 bus to Incheon Airport is also very close; check the attached photos for the location. Nearby subway lines: 2, 4, and 5. 🦀 All in all, it was a great experience, highly recommended! Hope this helps! 🐯"

"The hotel is conveniently located near Wangsimni Station, just a 3-minute walk from exits 1 or 2. If you have luggage, using the escalator at exit 3 or the elevator near exit 6 (both within a 10-minute walk) makes it much easier to get to. The room had a circular bed, not the rectangular one shown in the pictures. It was quite large, easily big enough for two people. I barely noticed the typical Korean bathroom smell, though the shower drain was a bit clogged, which was a minor issue. The hairdryer was in a drawer; it was a little noisy but powerful enough to dry my hair effectively! At night, the heating was on constantly, making the room quite dry. I found that turning off the bathroom fan helped make it more comfortable. Behind the front desk, there was a lounge area with a coffee machine, a hot water dispenser for cup noodles, a microwave, and more, all available for guests to use freely. This was also the only place where free Wi-Fi was available. Room cleaning can be requested at the front desk when you head out in the morning. If you leave used bath towels and trash outside your door, they will be collected. You can also get fresh bath towels from the front desk if you ask. I'd read some reviews mentioning mold, but upon closer inspection, it was minimal, so if you're sensitive, you might want to bring your own. They provided enough room wear for everyone. There were several bottled waters in the fridge, and you could freely grab more from a dispenser near the front desk, which was a great perk. All the staff were incredibly kind and wonderful. I'd definitely like to stay here again! Thank you!"

"Since it was just opened, I searched for it on Naver Maps or Kakao Maps and it didn't come up, so I was worried it might actually be there, but it turned out fine! There was no floor guide on the website, so just to clarify, there is a kiosk on the 4th floor where you can check in, receive your room number and go to your room. The elevator goes up to the 5th floor, and there is a common space on the 6th floor where you can enjoy a cafe corner, ramen, and other services. The microwave was broken so I couldn't heat up my tteokbokki, which was disappointing 😭 The room was clean and had a refrigerator and table, so I had a comfortable stay!"

"The front desk staff was a handsome Korean guy, very attentive and friendly. He resolved issues immediately and even helped my sister book a taxi to the airport. The hotel itself is new and clean."

"It turned out to be a chain. I stayed in another location and liked it, so I booked it when I saw there was one in Seoul. I was so satisfied that I would like to stay there again on my next visit to Seoul. The bathroom and room were tidy and clean, and the location was great."

"I stayed at Hotel Hertz in Seoul and honestly, the location was amazing. The hotel is right in front of Jongno 3-ga Station (Exit 4), which made getting around super easy. There are heaps of restaurants right outside that stay open until midnight, so even if you arrive late, you’ll always find somewhere to eat. There are also lots of convenience stores nearby. Myeongdong is only about a 15-minute walk, and the famous Ikseon-dong Hanok Village is just a 5-minute walk away. For the price, you really can’t beat this location. Amenities are pretty basic — only four small towels and two bottles of water were provided. If you need more water, they sell two bottles for $1 at the lobby, and there’s a vending machine where you can buy things like toothbrushes or shavers. I mainly saw foreign tourists staying here and no Korean guests, so the staff are clearly used to dealing with foreigners. They cleaned the room every day, although I don’t think the duvet cover or pillowcases were changed since the same stain was still there after cleaning. That said, the room was overall clean, comfortable, and very convenient. One of the best parts was the big bathtub — it was really nice to relax and take a bath every day. The room also came with a hair dryer, hair straightener, and even different types of chargers, which was super helpful. Overall, a comfortable and well-located hotel that’s great value for money!!!"

"This place was more spacious and comfortable than a capsule hotel, offering great value for money. The self-check-in after 8 PM was a breeze. I was lucky enough to get the room furthest back, so I wasn't bothered by noise from the entrance, and it even had a window! The bathroom had a hairdryer and hair iron, and it wasn't crowded around 7 AM, so I could get ready at my own pace. The location was excellent, within walking distance to Myeongdong, so I'd definitely like to stay here again. However, I was told the ground floor door would be locked after 10 PM, but even after entering the password, it wouldn't open... Luckily, someone who was waiting for the elevator opened it for me from the inside."

"Check-in was self-service using the room number and password provided by the hotel; the front desk closes at 5 PM. Location: 260 meters from Dongmyo subway station, a 4-minute walk from the nearest bus stop (but during Korean holidays, that road is packed with people and practically impassable). Room: Single room with ensuite bathroom. The room isn't large, but a 24-inch suitcase can be easily opened and stored under the bed. Everything was new, clean, and tidy. The toiletries are the currently popular Hetras brand. However, the bed is a bit small, and the curtains don't block out much light. The refrigerator was also a bit noisy, so I moved it out and unplugged it. Public Facilities: No elevator, no elevator, no elevator. There is a tea room where you can heat up food, a coffee machine, and a water dispenser (with hot water ♨️). There are also public restrooms and a laundry room on the third floor. Luggage storage is free on check-in and check-out days."

"I stayed for two nights because it was relatively affordable compared to other hotels in Seoul that have become quite expensive. I'm not sure if it's newly opened, but the interior was sleek and the room was generally clean. However, the toilet and shower stall were extremely small, and there was a strong drain smell. The location is great, very close to exit 4, making it convenient to get anywhere. Being right in the middle of a bustling restaurant district, I could hear music and conversations from late night until early morning, but I was so tired when I got back that I fell asleep quickly and wasn't too bothered. Having a fridge and microwave in the room was a huge plus for me, as I usually eat meals from convenience stores. I would definitely consider staying here again if I'm ever in the area."

"This hotel really hit the sweet spot for both location and value for money! 👍 It's only a 2-minute walk from Bulgwang Station, which made getting around super easy. Plus, you can get to Jongno and Myeongdong with just one subway ride, so it was perfect for sightseeing. There were tons of great restaurants nearby, so no worries about meals. The room was spacious and clean too, making it a comfortable place to relax. The Styler in the room was a huge bonus for keeping my clothes fresh. Best of all, the price was very reasonable, and breakfast was only 5,000 won, so it was an added perk that made the stay even more satisfying. Overall, it's an excellent value-for-money hotel, and I'd definitely consider staying here again! 😊"
